I got a medium size for my Dad who usually wears large but it fits well for him and he loves it!

I purchased a winter Columbia jacket but because of the zip out liner I also have a spring jacket. It's an incredible value.

The product is warm and durable...I like the functionality of the inside liner jacket also The previous incarnation of the jacket did not have many pockets (2); this has been addressed in this coat

Great jacket for my older son who wanted to be able to Dress warm and if needed could remove liner or use it as a jacket. I love Columbia products and they stand behind there products.

Huge fan of 3-1 jackets, especially for the winter and winter activities. I had a 3-1 from Columbia when I was 14, I'm 30 now and it was time to replace it, 16 years of warmth. This new 3-1 is amazing the new technology is unmatched. It does run a tad big but I think a medium would be too restricting. I'm 5''10 200lbs, the large is a little long but it like it. I have no problem driving while wearing the jacket. It's versatile, easy to switch between the layers and the jacket is Ski/Snowboard ready. I've gotten so many compliments on the look of the jackets as well. Well worth the money, extremely happy. I don't worry about the winter weather now.

Omni-heat technology is so worth it! Jacket is not too thick or bulky but keeps you warm during New Jersey winters.

The best jacket on the market for the price 2 jackets in 1. The puffer is perfect without the shell. Shell is light weight and perfect for misty and windy days

This is my first jacket from Columbia and I love it! It's very warm, but isn't too bulky. Doesn't restrict movement too much so it's quite comfortable. Definitely recommend.

This is my second one. The first one is great but I lost a lot of weight. Has all the features I was looking for and looks nice as well. Highly recommend.

Great jacket with plenty of convenience and features. I really like the ski pass pocket in the left arm - makes things very easy when moving through the lift gates. Purchased this to update my old gear and in anticipating for our trip to Jackson Hole of Thanksgiving. Conditions were pretty cold (in the 20s) but this jacket (with baselayer and thermals) kept me plenty warm on the slopes. I really think the Omni-heat interior treatment helps keep the size/weight down without negatively impacting the overall insulation. Fit is excellent and provides for plenty of free movement. I've worn Columbia ski gear for years - since college - and have never been disappointed. This is the best of the bunch, updated with new tech. Great overall product. I highly recommend it.

Finally a warm jacket! Really good one, with two layers and sort of long jacket, it will keep the most critical organs from neck to half thighs very warm. My favorite things about it is the armpit zip, I keep it open for perfect temperature control, it does make you warm I'm serious about it :)

I bought this jacket to replace my other one that i had to return do to a stitching error and I am very impressed with the quality of this jacket and the many features it has built in. it is very warm and comfortable.

We had the same version from a few years ago, and this has been a nice sleek upgrade!

Purchased this to replace my last Columbia Titanium winter coat that was 10 years old. I wanted something a little warmer and the OmniShield lining keeps me extremely warm. I wore this for the first time out tailgating when it was below freezing all day, and I got so warm I had to take it off at certain points. Definitely recommend as it is versatile and you can take the outer shell off as well, if needed.

5'10", 170 lbs, athletic build and a medium is a perfect fit. I feel like if I was just a touch bigger I would need a large. I received the jacket just in time for this recent New England cold snap. Wore the full coat and just the puffy, happy with the look, warmth, and performance of both. The only minor gripe I have is that the puffy flares a bit at the bottom when worn alone. A drawstring would have been a nice feature, but also irrelevant when worn with the shell. Overall, this an excellent product for the price.

Bought jacket for ski trip in Japan. Omni heat kept me very warm throughout with just a thermal & Fleece.

I enjoy the versatility of this jacket- can just wear inner jacket alone or in addition to outer weather proof jacket. It's my 2nd one of the same type and love it!! It's great for rain or snowy weather.

Living in Alabama means the weather can change in a second. It's been as cold as ~35 degrees since I've received it and this jacket has kept me very warm. It's not very heavy either which is great. The interior jacket is great just by itself. I would recommend this to a friend.

The jacket is great. The inner jacket is very warm because of the Omni-Heat technology. The outer jacket is great for rainy and windy days because the material is waterproof. When used complete, the jacket is very warm but also offers space for wearing multiple layers under it. Love it

The jacket is a 3 in 1 so it's very versatile. Use the layers according to your need and you're all set. The design is very good and so is the build quality. Would highly recommend it.

I have had the coat a short time but the outer shell has done great in the rain. It fits true to size and is very flexible and does not restrain movement.
