It's a great jacket that my dad had bought before and for his birthday this year I got him a new one!!

It is a very warm and durable jacket. Just took quite some time to get after ordering.

Excellent jacket. Fits perfect and not to stiff like other brands when you first buy them.

I love that Ariat carries tall sizes, that don't look like the typical tall size. The lining on this jacket is absolutely wonderful, it keeps you warm and the wind out. I also appreciate that the hood is also lined, for those days that you really need to bundle up. The tall size has perfect length sleeves and the body doesn't ride up when you sit down. I highly recommend this jacket for any of the fellas working out in the harsh elements.

4 outta 5 stars. Great jacket, repels water and snow well, and keeps me warm while doing the chores around the horses or just being outside. I've worn this jacket almost constantly since getting it as we have had a 'real' winter in Colorado. The sizing is spot-on, and leaves room to wear more clothes underneath if needed. I've been impressed at how it keeps the wind out, breathable, and the hood works like it's supposed to. Only issue I have are the hand pockets. Perfect for keeping your hands warm, so no problem there. The jacket pockets do not have zippers, and so your keys, phone, wallet, etc., will fall out of the pockets the moment you bend over, ride a horse, get out of a vehicle, whatever. A little bit deeper pocket and zippers would make this a 5-star jacket, easily.

Good quality work hoodie! Love the material. It shrunk a bit but still fits great! Thinking of buying a different color.

i bought this last winter, and it's too warm for a georgia winter. i love it, though. the only downside is the pockets. the bottom seam is flat, level with your belt. whatever you put in your coat pocket will definitely fall out unless you touch it every 30 seconds. the inside "flask pocket" works great for phones, and i've got pants for keys and wallet. so the pockets arent a drawback, they were just designed only with hands in mind. in 2 winters so far, i have no rips or tears in the outer shell, no issues with the zipper, no issues inside the jacket, no issues with the pockets except for the design. my jacket is still in new condition after daily use for 2 seasons. and thats putting the jacket on and taking it off several times because it's not really cold where i live. if you live in a warmer area where you only have 4-5 real cold days a year, dont buy this one. get a thin weatherproof jacket and wear hoodies underneath for the real cold days. you northern folk already know more about the cold than i do, so have at it.

Great fit and mobility. The durability is pretty bad 4 runs through the washer and seams are frayed.

Pictures make this jacket look much more orange than it does in real life. Fit is good and materials seem of high quality, just a little disappointed that the jacket is really more brown in all types of light than the rich orange color that seems to be shown on every website. Would probably have chosen a different color even with the higher cost.

Coming from the North this is an okay jacket for the South. I don't believe it will keep you warm in temperatures below 20's that being said you would think it's a winter coat it's more a sub cool jacket. Fit was fine. Went with a larger size to accommodate layers. Material seems like it could hold up. It's not an extreme fabric so I'm not sure how long it'll hold up in construction.

I've had this coat for over a year and it has been awesome! Breaks in very nice, very warm, and very durable I love the inside pocket and the Sherpa liner, however if the front zipper pocket wasn't there, you wouldn't be able to carry anything. The 2 hand pockets are huge and very warm but if you put a cell phone, truck keys, flashlight, anything inside the pockets it WILL slide out of them. This is my only complaint because it happens so often it gets 3 stars everything else makes it a 5 star coat in my book.

What in the world is going on with the Front Pocket? In each of these pictures the front pocket and logo are in 3 different positions: 1. pocket right-side and logo right-side, 2. pocket right-side and logo left-side, and 3. pocket left-side and log left-side.

Good warm coat just the pockets if you want to put anything else besides your hands in there it will fall out an be lost have had several different coats never have lost stuff like I have wearing this coat
