These were awful. The most uncomfortable shoes I've ever tried on. I'm a 9 1/2. Zappos recommended a size 10 because I take a 10 in Ryka sneakers. The Hoka 10s were too big. I tried a 9 1/2. It fit, but was loose in the heel. But both sizes were horribly uncomfortable. The top scraped my foot with and without socks. The sole was stiff and lumpy. There is NO arch support. I love the idea of AllBirds, but they don't fit me. The Hupana Flow Wool is 1/2 polyester, so you completely lose the breathability of wool. The Hoka shoes made my feel sweat instantly. All in all, I don't understand what everyone is raving about. These shoes were horrible. They're going right back.
I'd also recommend:
Birkenstock, Haflinger, Stegmann, Rieker, Picolinos.

they kill my feet hard as a rock, no cushioning at all in the heel area, i heard rave reviews about how i needed to get these shoes and i didnt wanna pay the price cause i had a feeling they wouldnt work, well my thoughts were right, they are not good at all!!

The grey flannel-like fabric, and the greyish color of the soles make the shoe look more like a casual shoe, and less like a sneaker. Also, the elastic laces, rather than traditional tie laces, contribute to the casual look. Comfortable for plantar fasciitis.

I've been very happy with these as an extra pair of sneakers that are a bit dressier, easy to slip on and give good support to walk around. They're not as supportive as my Bondi sneakers but great for everyday. These ran slightly large for me but kept my normal size.

Love the Hupana Flow Wool! Like that there are 2 options. Short laces for slip on ease and regular laces for more support.

Fantastic shoe!! Looks great with everything. Cushioned sole is so great for my bad back. Wish I had bought 2 pairs!!

I absolutely LOVE these shoes! They fit perfectly and are warm and cozy. I ordered a pair last winter, and wore them out! I anticipate doing the same with this pair this year (and that's a GOOD thing)!

I read reviews & ordered 1/2 too big since my regular size was already sold out. They fit great & look great! This was my first pair of Hokas and I love them! It's like walking on a cloud.

I returned 3 online purchases from other companies before ordering HOKA. My "mature" bony high-arched feet cry at the slightest insult. These shoes have an adequate toe box and roomy enough width at base of toes to dry their cryin' eyes. (The others rubbed at the outside and/or the top of my big toes.)
If you have feet that get crabby easily, try HOKAs! They were a great price also!

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I didn't know shoes could be this comfortable. I have tried all the "comfort brands" and these are by far the best. I am probably going to buy the same pair in another color since I don't think it possible for anything better. This is officially my brand for all activities. I may even wear them on dres occasions!

I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my feet and the right foot is worse than the left. The doctor recommended Hoka. I can walk without pain and right now that's a gift!

I love these shoes as do my feet and spine. I only wish that they had a winter waterproof version. Adequate support and great comfort - what more could I ask for an indoor shoe?

When I put my Hoka Hupana Flow shoes on and started walking....I thought..."these shoes make me feel like walking...and walking...and walking....there is a "spring forward" feeling in the shoe....these are truly the best; my sister now has her Hoka shoes....thanks for a great shoe....

I was introduced to HOKA by a nurse at my Rheumatologist's office. She had foot problems too, and said these shoes were a life saver. I highly recommend these shoes to anyone suffering from tendinitis or plantar fasciitis. I have actually started walking again !

Great comfortable sneakers. Took them out of the box and wore them the whole day. I purchased the dark gray color.. I own two pair of Clifton sevens which I also love but these are my every day go to errand and light exercise sneakers.
