This shoe has such thin material on the top that perhaps would be best in a hot climate in August. It felts so flimsy that I was concerned it would rip and didn't want to pay the Hoka price hike for these. I'm also looking for one that does not bend at all. These bend at the toe. By the way Zappos- I don't mind trying on shoes after someone else- but these were clearly worn outside.

I have never written a negative review on a Hoka shoe and I am long time runner. I feel conflicted on the Rincon maybe because I had such high hopes. First, they have the worst support. Cheap feeling and I owned all of the Cliftons, the Huaka, Challenge ATR, Bondi, etc. None skimp like this. However, they feel like you're wearing air. So, in that respect, they are definitely easy to fly in while running. I ran 6 miles, out of the box to test them out. The run went so smoothly. I loved how light they felt. However, in the last mile, I noticed my toes felt a bit numb (they are narrow shoes!). I don't think they would hold up to my feet. I also felt my heels strike harder (I am not a heel striker. I usually hit mid foot first). My first thought: achilles issues ! Later, my hip was bothering me and I felt the run, even slightly is more than I ever feel from a run as my body is used to daily outdoor running. Overall, use these on fast tempo runs or short run days. I would not recommend as a long run day shoe. Maybe save them just for race days, if going for it at all. As for me, I cannot afford an injury. I love Hoka and Zappos so I cannot be too harsh as everyone's foot is different (age too!).

So light. The most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Love fit and color. Really great show. On concrete 8 hrs. A day 5 days a week.

My feet get sore easily and these are great for walking because they have so much cushion and are very comfortable.

These shoes are amazing! I purchased the 10.5 and they feel like I am walking on air. I have had hip surgery and low back surgery and cannot wear any other shoe but Hokas for my body not to hurt while being active. Highly recommend!
