I have arthritis in my ankles and feet and I am now in my 60s. This is the best shoe I have found for my feet in several years. I really like the arch support and the fact that I have enough room in the toe box. I liked them so much that we bought my Mother, who is 87 years old, a pair. She really likes them, too!

I really enjoy to run with this model, it's the 4th time I buy the Clifton. I'm not a fast runner so for long distance the cushion is perfect. The only negative side that I find in this model is that it wears out too fast.

The new Clifton 6's don't work for me. They don't fit to my feet like the 5's and there definitely isn't enough arch support for me. Hip pain is my big issue and I started feeling it when I walked with the 6's.

The shoe was too plush for my liking. I'm used to the Gaviota. I will stick with the Gaviota's.

I use this one for marathon training. This is the best Clifton since the Clifton 3. I was ready to forget about the Clifton altogether and never look back. Fortunately an experienced ultra runner talked me into trying this one and I'm happy she did :)

I love these but I did have to return them after trying them out for some time because they were absolutely too narrow and were hurting my feet. I never need to order wide size shoes, if anything I have trouble with shoes being too wide for me, but these are definitely narrower than usual. I am generally a size 6 in sandals and a 6-6.5 in all other shoes, but the 6B (medium width) in these are too narrow. Luckily Zappos was happy to accept my return even though it was passed the 30 day trial and I will be placing my new order for the 6D (wide width) today. Other than that, I love these shoes. They are super comfy and I'm very happy with them (or will be rather, when I get the new size).

Liked them but my feet were not getting enough support for they were landing on the outside of foot rather than straight into the shoe bed.

I am an "over-supinator" with high arches who needs a shoe just like this. I ordered my usual size, a 7, only to find them to be much too long and roomy. I exchanged them for a 6.5, only to find the length perfect but the shoe much too narrow, especially for my foot that has a small bunionette (on little toe). I wore them for 3 long nursing shifts. I was on my feet for an average of 14 hours each day. My feet ached early on in each shift, even the bottoms of my feet were sore. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to love these shoes. I've heard nothing but great things! I do like them and would absolutely recommend them for someone with more narrow feet. The cushion is fantastic! I'm researching the akasa now and hope to try them soon.

For some reason, they took the perfect shoe and cut down the tongue so now the laces slip under the tongue. The comfort is good but the shorter tongue is really annoying.

Felt a half size too large. Wide toe box. Will probably get a half size smaller and see how that fits.

Hoka has finally circled back to the great virtues of the Clifton 3. After some Clifton iterations that had overly rigid rockers, the Clifton 6 strikes that wonderful balance of a rocker that is nice and firm, yet somehow soft enough to feel at one with your foot as you move. Moreover, the Clifton 6 just gets better and better aesthetically; Hoka, please continue in this sleek and minimal direction! Given how great the shoe is, the sizing is especially disappointing. Hoka's 7.5 has always been spot on for my 7.5 size foot; however, this Clifton's 7.5 is noticeably longer, as well as larger in the instep. I would consider it almost a half size too larger, and am considering going down to a 7.

What a cute shoe! I recently tried 2 Hoka shoes, this one and the Arahi. I tried my normal size, 9, and the 8.5. I ended up fine in the 8.5. Maybe the Hoka toebox is longer than other shoes. The wide toe box is not as roomy as a New Balance wide. This one, although very cute, doesn't offer the stability of the Arahi. I'm keeping them both to rotate for a very long event which is taking place over several days. Better for my feet and legs to rotate shoes.

Really like shoe but half size too big. I fluctuate between 8 and 7 1/2. Do all Hokas run same size. Would like to order another style, but think I should order 7 1/2

The fit was good and the soles had a sufficient amount of padding to protect my feet. My issue is with the removable inserts. They have a slight lip on the inner edge which dug into my arches. It was the same on both feet. I tried a second pair thinking it might be a defect, but they were the same as the first. That was the only reason I sent them back.

It took a few runs to break these in. I'm training for another marathon and took them on a 15 mile run right out of the box. It wasn't a very comfortable ride and I was ready to send them back. I decided to keep running in them on shorter days and see if that would help. It did! Now 15+ miles in them is fantastic. I just wish the toe box was a little wider. Thanks Hoka for another great shoe!

I wanted these to fit badly! So so light ( looks can be deceiving!) and they had tons of sole cushion! However, me feet could feel the sides of the sole inserts, as if they needed to be a bit deeper for the foot to sit down in more. I sent them back as I have finicky feet ?

Based on other reviewers I ordered my normal shoe size. But found the shoe to run narrower than normal and had to return. Like style and color - the rocker type sole will take some time to adjust though.

I am not yet sure if they fit me as well as the Clifton 4. Maybe I need more structure than I thought. Maybe I just need to wait until the mold to my feet better. Might try a different model next time. I think they are OK for walking, but I might want a different model for running.

I have had the Clifton model before, the Clifton 6 seems to "draw" on my heels.
I replaced the Hoka one insole that came with the sneaker, an improvement, but still feel the
drawing - almost as if you are standing on a cement floor. I didn't experience that with the other Clifton or the Bondi.
