The shoe is much bigger than my normal running shoes, so I ended up ordering 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear. The shoe is super comfy with a lot of cushion but feels a bit bulky.

These do not have nearly the support I need. Back to Brooks.

I have run in HOKA Clifton's for a long time - these seem to run bigger. I got blisters on the inside of my arch from the insoles.

I really wanted to like these because I loved the way they looked. However, the first time I put them on, I knew they would end up getting returned. I'm not sure if they weren't wide enough or what, but there was a part of the shoe near the center that poked into my foot in a weird way. I have narrow feet, so I don't usually have a problem with the width of shoes. I had read prior reviews where people mentioned getting a blister right where I felt the shoe poking/rubbing my foot. I know that if I attempted to run in these I would most likely end up with the same type of blister. Also, they are very cushioned and I didn't feel the ground the way I'm used to in a running shoe.

After putting only about five-six miles in these shoes, I developed a long, painful blister on the inside arch of my left foot. It was hitting the seem where the insole meets the shoe and felt like I was running on hard plastic. I googled and found many other users who have had the same issue. I called hoka and they are aware of the problem but offered ZERO advice or encouragement other than to try a different shoe. Zappos is awesome and took them back. I’ve never run in hokas before and it’s safe to say, I doubt I’ll ever run in them again. I’ll stick to the brands that I’ve never had the issue with so far.

I bought these because i LOVED my Hoka Ones Bondi. I wore them all the time and I needed a cleaner nicer pair to wear inside clients homes and businesses. I liked the look of the Cliftons and had read an article how they were supposed to be the newest best thing. I noticed they were not as comfortable as the Bondis but since I wasn't wearing them ALL the time (only 4-5 hours a week) while i was training clients and not using them to work out, they would be fine and I did like the way they looked. I've worn them for three months and wearing them once or twice a weekI noticed the backing started coming off of them. I have not worked out, ran or walked miles. This is unacceptable. I understand if i played tennis every day in them or ran every day in them, after three months I would expect to replace them but not wearing them three times a week for two hours a time. In short, Do NOT buy these shoes!! They are very poorly made!

Love these shoes for outdoor walks and runs! I ordered my normal size 8, which I normally take in Brooks and Ons, but had to exchange a 1/2 size down 7.5 as I found them to run large. They look bulkier than traditional running sneakers but are so light when they are on!

This was my first time trying Hokas and I ordered both the Clifton 6 and the Bondi 6 in the wide width. Both fit perfectly right out of the box. I kept the Clifton because it was $20 less expensive and more attractive and looked like the upper would allow more air flow through. I love my new shoes! I went for the wide width to accomodate my high arch. These fit perfectly, I can feel the arch support and they are like walking on clouds. I have much less back and joint pain while wearing them and they are very light weight. I am constantly asking myself how I can adjust my work wardrobe so that I can wear these every day once we all go back to work. The only thing I would change is I wish that the upper material was even more breathable, and I wish that Hoka made a backless slide with this same sole for easy wearing around the house.

So cushy - almost feels like springs under my feet! Secure sole and wonderful shock-absorption.

I finally decided to see what all the hype is about and purchased a pair of these shoes, and I don’t think I can ever go back to anything else! It’s truly like walking/running on clouds! I’m size 8.5 and typically order size 9 for running shoes. I read the reviews here that state these tend to run big, so I ordered 8.5, and they fit perfectly.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just couldn’t help myself. These running shoes are truly phenomenal. I have wide feet so I got the wide version and they fit like a glove. I run 5 days a week and my knees were starting to hurt. With these shoes, I no longer have the knee pain. I highly recommend these shoes!

This is my third pair of Hoka One Clifton’s. I had two pair of the Clifton 5 and now the Clifton 6 and have loved them all. I’m not a runner, but they make a great walking shoe too. Love Zappos, they even gave me a 30 day runlimited guarantee with these!! You can actually wear them for their intended use and if they don’t work out you can send them back within30 days!! Way to go Zappos!!

My usual size was too big. I went down 1/2 size which was perfect even with orthotics. Without orthotics I might have gone down another 1/2 size. They’re awesome!

Great shoe for running. First pair of Hoka but certainly not the last. Switched from Brooks and these allow so much padding, support and comfort. I highly recommend!

These are really cushiony shoes! I am unable to keep them because they are so big. I ordered a half size smaller than usual, and they are still too big. I have a low-volume foot, and the toe box is too wide on me. The length was also too long. I should have ordered a full size smaller. I still think the toe box will be too large, though.

I wasn’t able to wear these. I have to say I’m shocked by the size. I read the reviews so ordered a 7. I’m normally a 7.5 and these were STILL probably a full size larger and also quite wide. These run larger than any shoe I’ve ever tried. With such a discrepancy not sure how you would find a good fit online without being able to try these in person.

Love this brand and have loved it for a long time. But I have only had these shoes for two months and the bottom of one shoe is falling apart.

I read reviews and ordered a half-size smaller; I usually wear a 10 M or W so got a 9.5 W. Fit was very good. Bouncy and light--nice comfortable feel. However, there is an arch issue: for some reason even the "moderate" arch began to hurt after wearing for about 1 hour. Maybe that's because the rest of your foot presses into the cushioning while walking, so it makes the arch feel more pressing/obvious... I don't really know. But had to return due to discomfort in the arch area. Too bad--I really wanted this shoe to work.

These have given me the worst blisters on inner heels, arches and tear big toe.I was told to give it some time to adjust but it's been 3 months and they continue to get worse. Apparently multiple reviews off this site agree. I'm a nurse and my feet hurt now working. Hoka isn't helping replace them. :(

The clifton 6 is NOWHERE NEAR SUPPORTIVE as the clifton 5. So disappointing. The clifton 5 is like a saddle for my feet, so to speak. The arch support and the upper fabric is almost compression like, for my feet. Very supportive. In the clifton 6, the upper fabric is really flimsy and loose, so much so that it makes my right foot turn inward and contributes to other foot pain like bunions. I am not a runner. The Hoka brand was recommended by my podiatrist. Does Hoka have some kind of comparison chart for the different shoes they carry? Maybe a different style would be more supportive, but I can't tell which other styles might work. Hoka should make a chart comparing their own styles to one another.

I have been wearing Hokas for a few years and I love the comfort of the shoe. I liked the color combo of navy and black.
