It's a different fuzzy material but it is indeed warm. Can fold the beanie to however length you want it and leave extra room at the top for styling. Bought one for me and my wife for Iceland.

Use it everyday Very warm

Perfect winter hat for very cold conditions. Fits snugly on my head and doesn't move up or slide on my hair. It's super thick material so it keeps my ears warm and the wind doesn't get through. It can be worn as a beanie or a slouch hat. Definitely not a fashion hat though but absolutely functional and appreciated in the very cold weather.

Love this beanie! Hands down my favorite I've ever owned. It fits great, and keeps my head warm!

Warm and comfortable

Was looking for a beanie that I could wear when it gets chilly in our Texas area. It is super soft and looks stylish with a lot of different outfits. I only wish they came with the same color plush scarf so I can match them and wear both at the same time.

Super soft and thick material.

For a relaxing ski day (without my helmet) I wore this for one of the heaviest snow storms we had in PA. Snow soaked everything but this beanie kept my head warm and dry. The heavy wool makes such a difference. My only complaint is just the itchy material. Not a total deterrent. I don't have sensitive skin, but I did notice that I scratch at my forehead from time to time during wears. This is the warmest hat I own and I still take it with me everywhere. The black goes with everything I wear. I washed it once in cold water and the material looked like it softened and appeared almost shiny after.

I bought this beanie to snowboard in Tahoe, i couldn't wear it because the material made my forehead unbearably itchy!!!
