This long vest IS indeed heavenly!!!! It works great in that it completely covers your back end and your thighs. Walking or hiking with it on works great. Ease of movement, no problem.

Fabulous for ice rink!! Bottom zipper is great to adjust when sitting

This vest is amazing. The length is perfect for walking on a cold winter day. Fitted and very stylish as well as warm. Went to order a 2nd one and they are all sold out!! Hope they return next year as I would love to have another vest in a different color as this has become my go to winter coat.

I love this vest and have it in two colors - black and olive. I’m 5’11” and bought XLs since I’m a bit pear-shaped. The length is perfect with leggings and I love the longer length in the back. The way the vest is sewn in the back is flattering with an angled construction. If it were sewn straight across, it would just add width to your backside. Probably the smartest thing about this one. It’s warm without adding bulk. Could certainly get a sweater underneath. The neck stays up. No complaints so far.

I love this vest. I've been wanting a longer vest and when I saw this one and notice it was a little more stylish I was sold. I love this color but I think its more bronze then olive green which the bronze is what I preferred . I've gotten a lot of complements and it fits perfectly.

I have 3 different long vests and this is by far the best. The curved back goes over your behind when seated. It makes sitting in a ice rink enjoyable!

I love this vest so much! Not only is the color beautiful, it is so functional! I love outerwear that covers my backside so this vest is perfect! I live in Ohio, so weather is super unpredictable. This vest offers both warmth and coverage so it's perfect for those constant temperature changes!

I have always wanted a longer fit vest and this one lives up to what I have dreamed. The high//low feature in the front and back is not only fashionable but keeps my front hips and bum warm! Never a problem when sitting on cold bleachers! I wish that I would have purchased other colors when I ordered the first time. I ordered the XL in black.

I love my similar puffy jacket, but it's nice to have my arms free especially when camping or lugging wood in for the Wood stove. Great for any outdoor work too and it keeps my hips warm which is great in the PNW.

The longer length of this vest is great for running on cooler days. Keeps my upper legs warm. It is light weight and warm. The zipper packets are great for securing miscellaneous items. My neighbor ordered two of these vests.

I love this vest. It keeps you so warm, and the style is so different than any other vest I've found in that it is long and shaped so nicely in the back. I purchased it because I saw it on someone else and since I've had mine, a couple of other people I know have done the same. Style-wise it stands out; and the plush inside of the collar is so comforting but not overly showy or suffocating. I also enjoy the vest's length because it can go over all kinds of clothing and not look odd. For example at work I often wear a shorter shirt but a longer cardigan. This vest covers it all. And on the weekends, I can sit in the stands watching a game and not feel the cold metal. Note for sizing: I always wear a medium and ordered that size first. It fit with a light layer but otherwise was too tight in the bust and waist to zip easily or wear comfortably. However the large is more than sufficient, good with layers, and not baggy in the shoulders or underarms like a size large top of any kind would usually be on me.

Exactly what I wanted. The vest isn't bulky, it's quite slimming. My only regret is that I wish I would have bought it earlier in the season so I could wear it more

I'm 5'3 and this vest is long enough to cover the backside. Great for over long sleeve shirt or under a coat. It appears more on the fitted side so if you float between sizes may need to size up for comfort. I would buy this again. It's stylish.

I love this vest. It is perfect for slightly cooler weather. It is warm but allows movement. It fits true to size so if you want to layer a sweater under it you might want to size up. Plenty warm with a long sleeve shirt underneath. I got so many complements when I wore it!

I was so excited when I first saw this vest on line. I am a vest person. I wear a vest often to keep my core warm through all of my activities. This vest is perfect. It keeps the lower part of my body warm as well. It looks nice. A little more "dressy" if you will. It is also different. I don't see many people wearing long vests.

I have been a fan of longer vests for years and own several from different brands. This one is my favorite by far! It is nice and long (more than covers your bottom from behind and is mid thigh in the front), it is keeps you nice and warm without being super bulky and has an inner zippered pocket in addition to the two in the front (it is so hard to find that inner pocket in a vest!). I find it very flattering since it is "fitted" and isn't wide at the bottom (my figure is not curvy so this works for me). The longer vest makes it perfect as a jacket substitute when the weather starts to warm up in late winter/early spring (I imagine it will also be perfect in early fall). I am 5'5" with long legs so the longer length works really well for me. I suspect if you are shorter and/or have short legs it might be too long. Note: I loved this vest so much I went back and bought another one in a different color the next day.

I love the style and length. Perfect for running errands and layering on an unpredictable weather day. My husband says I am addicted to Columbia products.
