Love this vest! I have several outfits in which a longer vest was needed, and this is perfect! I did need to get a larger size. Ordered a med. I'm 5'7 155lbs. Average size. Had to reorder a large. This runs narrow and was too tight over my hips to zip up. Love that this has a 2 way zipper!

Runs a bit snug. Consider ordering 1 size larger. Nice looking though and is nice and warm!

Order a size up! Runs a bit small but the length is great. I typically order xl in north face for extra room, and something told me order xxl here. Wry glad I did because it's still more snug than a north face xl.

Beautiful vest and well made. Unfortunately, the reviews said the vest ran small so I ordered up. It ended up being way too big so returned it. I'm tall, but didn't really like the look of the way longer back. If you're short, I'm not sure it would work for you.

This vest is perfect for winter wear. It's fits true to size. I'm 5'6. 160 lbs and the large is perfect. The only problem is the zipper. For a high priced item the zipper sticks and is hard to use. In order for convenience I zipped it 1/4 way up and step inside to wear and remove. Not sure if I would recommend it due to the zipper.

Love this vest but there is one thing - the vest is pictured as "brown" but described as "olive green". It really is olive green tho if you put it with a dark brown sweater it brings out the brown tones in the vest and vice versa with the olive green. So it's really green.

I lost an hour of my life trying to figure out the sizing for this: I am 5'5 and 135lbs and I went with a medium (really debated the large based on reviews). I have a 36 chest (all rib cage) and a smaller frame and the medium is great for me. I can wear a sweater under it and it's ok; with just a long sleeve shirt, roomy, but not too much. I was also worried about the "lobster tail" of the back because I am on the petite side but it looks proportionate. Knocking a star off for that zipper that others have mentioned too: it's sticky and while it's frustrating, it still works so not a dealbreaker.

Always wear vests in the cold weather, this one is the first I've seen that has so many nice features! Best is the length, most vests are hip length, this one extends down to mid thigh which I love! Keeps my whole body warm when I'm ice skating, walking outdoors etc. I don't need to plan what top to wear with vest because it does poke out from bottom of vest like most other vests! Also nice is the Omni-shield interior and multiple pockets

I love this vest mostly because it's lightweight but keeps you warm and I love that it's long, it's not easy finding products that are long. The only thing I don't like is the zipper, it sometimes gets stuck but other than that I love it!

I really like this vest. It's perfect for late fall or early spring out and about or on the field for kids sports but the olive color is definitely more of a poop brown than the nice olive green I often wear. Wish there was a pretty grey...with that said I will keep it because it's really nice and I was looking for a vest to go over leggings and this fills the bill. I have this in a winter coat and love my coat...this vest is literally my coat (also a medium) just without the arms. Perfect.

I ordered the small. It may be the size of my hips or what not, but the top part was actually great fitting it was a little loose so I like that part (32DDD for reference. Small in tops and shirts). The bottom part is what I didn't like. It was to tight to my hips and rear and I am a 7 or medium size in pants. I always buy from size small and it fits me great all the time so this came small for sure. I dont have way to return it since I got confident and washed it right away :(.

I had to return this vest, even though the colors Wild Iris and Dark Seas are insanely beautiful. But I think this vest would be a much better look on someone tall and thin (i.e. not me :) ). There are a couple of issues with it: (1) It runs small in general. I have two Heavenly Long *jackets* in size Large, and this vest in Large was definitely running a size smaller than the jackets from the series, even though you'd think it would be cut the same. (2) It is long enough in the front for an average height person (5 ft 6 in), but then the "tail" in the back doesn't really make any sense, it just makes it look imbalanced and like you're wearing a frock coat. It goes almost to your knees! (or I have an uncommonly short torso.... :( ) It would have been an overall better shape if it was as long all around as the front; then it would be... just long :) In total, I can see how this vest would be magic for really tall people. As all Columbia items, it is really well made and the colors are amazing.

This product is great but I feel it runs slightly small, I'm glad I sized up. Love that it's long enough to cover my bottom and can be worn with any longer shirt.

ordered a L (5'6", 150lbs) to fit over sweaters & fleece jackets & have some movement for long walks. love the long back for coverage. fleece on side of collar is very soft so feels great when zipped up. very warm

I had ordered a Med, and it was a little snug over sweaters, so I returned it and ordered a Large. The large is TOO BIG.

Too small! Usually I wear a SMALL, but I ordered a MEDIUM to allow for bulky sweaters. I was surprised that is was too small. I like the look and will return it for a larger size.

Pretty color, snug fit. Seems cheaply made; Def size up at least 1 size larger than your usual

Nice but cut very narrow.I am always a medium but got a large because I wanted room for layers. It was sized more as a medium, right around the hips. I kept it but am disappointed.

Looks great but the stuffing over the left boob is lumpy and can’t be smoothed out. Sad.

This is a gift for someone, I don't know how it fits or feels. Looks fine.

I have a long torso, so I was excited that something would cover my behind.. However this was just too long and I'm not that much of a trendsetter. Returned.

Weird sizing. Like others said, the medium runs small, especially around the hips. I exchanged for the large, which is a little big in the chest area. I'll keep it as I can layer sweaters underneath. The red is not bright but more like a muted maroon/red which I like better than if it were a bright red.

Back bottom flap is too long. Chest could be cut more generously. I am not a big chested person but even if you are wearing a medium weight sweater , the chest is snug when zipped up. I usually find a medium size to be loose, not so with this item.

This Columbia vest is beautiful, but unfortunately it is cut too small. I have to send it back. The zipper I noticed also likes to stick. If this vest would be cut a little wider and better zipper I would definitely buy it again. It seems like these vests are always cut smaller through the bust. The reason I gave it a three in review is because of size. The lining was was quite nice too.
