Besides my running shoes, Keen shoes are the most comfortable I’ve ever found, due to the roomy toe box and usually not-too-wide-heel. I’ve worn the Presidio for years, and have Keen hiking shoes, boots, sandals, etc., as well as the Kaci slip-on. I was pleased to find the size 6/36 still fits me as sometimes there’s a difference between styles. These felt good except for this: the tongue is pretty stiff and will take some breaking in, which i just don’t have time to do, needed these for a trip, so these are going back. I can stick with the older presidio’s I’ve got for now, but may re-order these later. The other thing is this: it’s always a trade-off; comfort and stability vs. looks. Honestly, wearing these I look like I should have a white, cornered hat and windmills in the background.

I really wanted these shoes to work for me. They are well made, cute, and I love the color red. However they are just too tight. Keen seems to have changed their sizing, which really disappoints me, a long time lover of Keens. I have two other styles of the Kacis, so thought these would be wide enough, but they aren’t. So sad I have to return them. Thanks for your incredible service Zappos!!

I own the Kaci winter boots and they're the best shoes I've ever had. I wanted to find something with the same all day comfort, wide toe box, and support, but not necessarily winterized. These Kaci shoes are much more narrow and felt smaller everywhere than the winter boots. I don't have wide feet and they felt snug around the top of my foot and across the toe area. Leather seems nice enough. The tongue is stitched right over where the foot bends and was so tight and inflexible. Even felt a little short in the toe area too. Pretty disappointed TBH!

I like the styling and workspersonship of this shoe, but it runs considerably small, at least to this usual-size-11-footed-person.

I own a one-year-old pair of Kaci Winter Mid Waterproofs in size 10. I am able to wear these boots with a Birkenstock arch support orthotic. I ordered the Kaci II Oxford a half size up based on feedback given here. While I can get my foot into the shoe, it is tight, and there's no way I could wear it with my orthotic. Also, I love the wide toe box on the Kaci Winter Mids. The Kaci II Oxford looks wide, but the toe box is not as roomy, and the shoe is extremely stiff. Plus not as cute as the Kaci Mid. (Yeah, I actually think these wide toe shoes are adorable.) Sorry, but returning. (I wanted the red color in the worst way, too!)

Hang in there, a review is coming. I love Keen shoes. I have owned 6 pairs in the past 12 years and can say in general, they are some of the most comfortable shoes in the world. The Whisper sandals were the only pair that I no longer own, they are a narrow cut for Keen and did not work for me over time. My first pair was the Presidios. Great shoes. Comfortable. Then I got the Portolas. These are by far, the best Keens ever and of course, no longer made. I still own them, and they are on their last legs but I refuse to throw them out. I searched for a similar shoe and came across the Kaci II Oxford. Reviews were not the best but I needed a black pair of shoes and I couldn’t beat the price. The Kaci II are your typical Keen style and the offset white stitching is a nice touch. Typically, I wear a 9 1/2 in Keen, these are a touch big but I don’t think I would go down to a 9 and risk them being to small. Other reviews have stated that there is a spot that hits the foot wrong where the toe bends, it’s true. It hurts. It only happens on my right foot and above my pinky toe knuckle area. I needed these shoes so I decided to stick it out. I put moleskin on the spot in hopes to soften it, no luck. Then I discovered that if I push my toes up into the toe box further, it lessened the pain. I have now owned theses shoes for 3 weeks and have at least 135 hours of wear time, I think I have finally broken them in. I no longer have the pain above the pinky toe and they have turned into a perfectly “fine” pair of shoes. Nothing to rave about and I’ve never had to break in a pair of Keens before. So, I’m not sure if they are worth the hassle at full price. I have included photos of my beloved Portolas and the Kaci II. If Keen were to take away that stitching across the toe box like the Presidio or the Portolas, they would have better success with this shoe. I’ve requested the return of the Portolas from Keen and I’m still waiting. ?

Grateful for a review I saw that mentioned this shoe runs small so I ordered a half size larger than usual. The fit is ok.

The Keen Kaci II oxford is clunkily cute, but I should’ve believed the reviews. The toe box in this shoe is much wider than the traditional Keen toe box, which is generally plenty wide. Even tightening the laces didn’t help achieve a good fit because of the extra wide size. In addition, the length was good for my size 10 foot, but my heels kept slipping, and again, tightening the laces didn’t help. My search continues.

Just a bit too ugly for me to wear on the street. Really looks like a hiking shoe. I think it would be very comfortable, though, & could recommend them for hiking.

These shoes out of the box are a bit stiff. I have been reassured that this will pass after wearing a few times. After wearing them a few days they feel great! I’m sure they will eventually just mold to my feet and be a favorite. I bought them as an alternative to wearing sneakers all the time at work. I think they will be perfect.

LOVE the Kaci II Oxford! I bought my first pair in November 2019 and have worn them, almost exclusively, since. I walk a LOT and walk even more now because my feet are so happy. They’ve worn well considering how many hundreds of miles I’ve put on them in 4 1/2 months. What I love is the wide toe box and the ease with which my custom orthotics fit. Also, the 10 1/2 is my true size - it’s not so easy to find such a perfect fit. Stable, waterproof, walking bliss! Bought the red ones since they were on sale, color is just as I’d hoped, they’re muted and earthy, red enough but they don’t scream “red.” I have aging feet, issues with a bunion, corns and a poor arch. These are the most comfortable shoe I’ve owned in years!! Planning on stocking up on this shoe in several colors while they’re still available.

It fit well but is a very stiff shoe...it fits very tightly. I have a pair of Keen Presidio that I like better. I think that style is more comfortable to me. Both of these Keens will last forever though. Very sturdy shoes.

This shoes were very STIFF! I tried them on several times before deciding to send them back. They were not too large, not too small, not too wide, not too narrow. But they felt INFLEXIBLE. Perhaps in time I could have broken them in to be comfortable, but maybe not. I wanted to like them, but my feet didn't like them at all. Disappointed!

I own a very well worn pair of Presidios and after reading the reviews for the Presidio II and Kaci II Oxford, decided to try the Kaci II. While the toe box was fine, the area where the stitching runs across the top of the foot was tight. Tried to loosen the laces but then my heel slipped. Unfortunate as Keens have always served me well.

Keen has changed its sizing and I and very bummed about this. I want these shoes to fit, but ultimately they were uncomfortable. I ordered half a size smaller than I normally wear. The length is fine but the top right and top left sides were pressing down in my feet. And no matter how long I wore them in the house they continued to press down and were uncomfortable. I am disappointed.

Like the other reviews: right shoe across top digs into skin/too tight.

Like was said by most: uncomfortable across top of right ball of foot. Too tight and digs in. Very disappointed as I own many Keens; seems like quality has gone down.

I usually wear Keen Presidio but I have these a try and I’m glad I did. They’re just as comfortable as the Presidio but ever so slightly less chunky looking.

Keen shoes are always too wide (except for the toe box — and it’s really hard to find footwear with a wide toe box these days). Would it kill those people to make their wonderful shoes in a narrow width?

I am an ardent Keen shoe fan and have been wearing them for years. This is the first time they have been too narrow for me, and I already have narrow feet. I think it is related to the seam that they put on the outside of the big toe and the outside of the small toe. Uncomfortable!

I have had good success with Keens in the past, this pair was really disappointing. I like the style, but the fit was really tight and material was very stiff. I returned the shoes.
