This shoe runs about a half size big. I normally wear a Brooks 10.5 but a 10 in this shoe felt better (for reference I tried both the 10 and the 10.5). The waterproofing is awesome and just what I was looking for to last through the rainy Seattle winters, along with being a great shoe for hiking and stomping through the mud. The part about this shoe that I like the most, though, is the quick-draw lace. I've never owned a pair of shoes that had this before and I absolutely love them. Makes getting in and out of the shoe a breeze, and it lets me make the shoe as snug or as loose as I want them.

Used as a summer police shoe. (Black) As a police shoe this trail runner pair checks almost all the boxes except for one. It is light, waterproof (as I've tested), super easy to put-on/take-off with the lacing. It's a narrower shoe, built more for speed than stability, but that's the way I patrol. The chunky treads work miracles for off road foot pursuits. They are also the shoes biggest weakness on wet flat surfaces. Because there is less surface area, you have to be careful corning on those surfaces at high speeds. The heel protrudes a little much for my tastes, but that's lower on my priorities

Amazing support. Perfect fit, true to size width, not narrow like the Crossmax. Love the arch support and higher ankle fit. Amazing traction.

Much better than previous versions! Excellent stability with new sole as well. Fantastic modifications to an already good shoe. My 4th pair! (Note: Gore-Tex is perfect for winter runs but gets warm in Summer)
