Love this style. It does look like a skateboard shoe but also a good basic Adidas must have shoe.

These shoes are so comfortable they cured my plantar fasciitis. I also suffer from sciatica and certai shoes either help or make it worse. These shoes for surely help me walk long periods and I am able to wear them all day.

I really like this shoe, especially compared to the 80's. The vulc sole is very comfortable. As others have said it does run a little large, recommend going a half size down.
