All hats are crushable, but it's the ability to become uncrushed that counts. This hat arrived in an envelope, well crushed, and has mostly recovered its intended shape, but there are a couple of slight, but annoying, creases that linger. Otherwise a very nice hat -- comfortable, well made, looks good.
