Writing Review before product received. But, heard good things about it!

Had an old TNF Thermoball that was my favorite vest of all time - fit perfect, was just the right weight. The newer slim fit Thermoballs just don't fit a stocky guy like me and I got really frustrated. This vest fits the bill. It's just a bit more bulky than the thermoball because it is insulated, but it is also warmer and thus more functional for me. Pockets work great, the standard fit here is perfect for me; I'm not super tall so garments tend to run long on me but this doesn't.

i work outside 6hrs a day 2-4 days a week in the NE USA. this job involves me standing on concrete in the shade for those 6hrs and it can get very cold as i am not moving around much. this vest is great for layering as it keeps your core warm. it is not bulky, its very light and the fit is great. in temps of 40-45 degrees or above the vest can be worn with just a base layer and either a fleece or a good sweatshirt underneath and i will stay warm. i like the lining inside the pockets very much. overall i think this is a very good vest for the money.
