This is a great looking jacket; the fabric is matte finish with soft feel. But the cut is very slim and short; returning this one for a different TNF coat with a slightly wider cut in Tall sizing.

Fall jacket for comfort and style

I had high expectations for this jacket but unfortunately the down comes out everywhere across the jacket after a very short period of time. I'm surprised this would happen for what I believed to be a quality jacket at such a high price.

I bought this for my husband who loves this jacket. For him, it's light weight but warm, contains ample pockets, fits comfortably. For me, it's esthetically pleasing. I love the design and colors. It's a great 3 season jacket.

Great fit. I've worn this jacket in 50 - 72 degree weather. It's super comfortable. I don't go anywhere without it. It's a hair too puffy but the fit and color combo is fantastic. I wish the northface logo was either in black or the olive green instead of white. Wish it

This jacket is quite warm. It is much warmer than a down sweater. A very good option when a fleece or down sweater is not warm enough and a full down parka is too warm. It is attractive enough to wear during a casual evening out and durable enough to wear for any outdoor activity.

Best packable down jacket I had bought. It is very cozy, comfortable and very light. Perfect for the Chicago chilly winter.

Jacket is very warm for using around town. Features a slimmer fit than my Patagonia, but I am still able to layer a flannel or light sweater with it. The stretch is a plus as well.

My son is a competitive snowboard racer and needed something that will move with him, not be bulky and warm on those cold days on the mountain. This jacket was perfect, allowing freedom of movement and lightweight warmth.

It was my first time buying a coat in quite some time. I live in upstate NY where the temperatures can get pretty frigid, and the coat works wonders against temps in the -2 degree weather. Very satisfied n happy I took the leap with north face !!

Fit nicely

This is so lightweight and still offers plenty of warmth. I went for so long without a winter jacket because they're all too bulky and heavy but this broke my streak. So comfortable and looks great. A welcome addition to the wardrobe!

Absolutely love the fit of this jacket! I don't find myself wearing it often enough because the weather here (northern California in the foothills) just doesn't stay cold enough but when I go camping or hiking at elevation, it's always in my bag. Love this jacket!

Just bought this jacket for myself. I needed a warmer winter jacket. I was looking at the Eco ThermoBall but didn't care for the shinny look. Ran across this one in my size and decided to go with it. This is a lot warmer and I'm glad I picked this one up. Just took our dog for a two mile walk in 25 degree weather with a feels like 13 degree wind. This kept me warm. I had on a T-shirt and light sweat shirt and was actually getting hot towards the end. I'm 5'10 and 195 lbs and bought the XL.
