Just what I wanted for Dallas, TX weather. I wear a LB 18/20 and have an apple shape. The 2xl fit just great. I was able to zip and snap buttons with my curves. Based on design of jacket and my curves, this did not make me look bulkier. I plan to wear this with a thermal or very very light shirt underneath. This is my 3rd North Face Jacket and this one did not disappoint. I love all of the pockets and the removeable hood. It just feels/fits great! Very satisfied with purchase.

Love the color! It's so classy. I am between a large and xl. The large was a perfect fit even with a Hoodie underneath. I thought I would need to go up a size, but I'm glad I didn't. It is so comfortable and warm. Wear casual or dress it up. My new favorite!

It’s not a fitted vest, so it looks boxy, which I expected. That being said, it’s very well made, warm, and has awesome pockets. It’s absolutely perfect for what I needed. I’m glad I decided to buy it.

I live in NC, weather is mild. Often a winter coat is overkill and I end up carrying big coat. This vest is perfect, I stay warm in the cold and never too hot.

I ordered my usual size medium and the fit was great, even a little bit of extra room. Pockets are deep and roomy too. Overall, love this vest

Fits roomy enough to zip around sweaters and hips. Length is perfect. Only complaint is that it seems to attract fuzzies. Super warm.

I have this vest in two colors, that's how much I love it! I have Black, goes with everything, and Blue, goes great with jeans, and all of my Michigan Gear. This vest is not super fitted, but having said that, it's not huge or boxy. Roomy enough in my usual size to wear a sweatshirt under it, or flannel shirt. Looks great, feels even better, The hood can be removed too. Light weight, warm and super cute. I can't tell you how many compliments I have revived, and questions on where I bought it. The Vest is just fun to wear! Perfect for cooler weather, when you don't need a bulky jacket. North Face so you can't go wrong.

The product will be used for casual wear mostly, and the color combination is amazing.

Love the look, the feel, and the fit. It is not super fitted, so what ever I want to wear under the vest, will not be a problem. I got the Navy, as I am a big Wolverine fan. Goes great with all of my Michigan gear. This vest is warm, the hood is great, and I can remove it, if I choose to. Yeah this vest is awesome!

I am definitely in love with this super cute red retro vest. I bought it on a whim bc I wanted to add more color to my closet of black jackets and I cannot wear it enough. It does fit a tad big if you want a tighter fit, size down, no question. I like a roomy fit but also bought it in other colors in M & S and kept both! Go for it!

My 84 years mom is a fan of the North Face clothing. She owns many pieces but a vest. Now she owns a vest! She loves the fit and color so much.Everyone told her she is very stylish.

Love the pockets and the fact that hood is detachable. Interior phone pocket is great

I love this vest! It is super light weight. I usually wear a large in North Face. I did the fit size calculator and it suggested a XL. It is a little big. Not so big that I returned and got the smaller. It is a perfect color of blue and I get so many compliments. It has been an awesome vest this week as we have had 10 degrees to 40 degrees and this has been perfect!

Love my vest, so warm and it also has hidden pockets.

I live in Alaska's Arctic, live off the grid, and need clothing that will withstand a harsh environment, temps to -65, and keep me warm. If it looks good, that's an extra plus, but I look for good serviceable outdoor gear first. This vest is very warm and will be an asset to my work and casual clothes. Not only is it serviceable, but it does look good and it's in my favorite color....red. It's a great red and not one of those orange-reds that are so popular today.

Beautiful vest

Beautiful vest, well made, soft material. I love the hood it comes with. Looks great with a sweatshirt or plaid shirt, jeans, joggers and leggings. Perfect for New England weather. It will last for a long time. I love my new vest

I use the vest running errands, going to the gym, etc. Anywhere that I will be in and out of heated areas as it is not as heavy as my down winter North Face coat and still looks stylish with my jeans/sweaters, workout clothes, boots, etc. I just received last week and while it was misting when I was out & about Saturday it wasn't really raining so I haven't tested that yet but love the hood I can pull up to protect from the elements. The size estimator indicated 73% that the large would be the best fit, if I ordered the same vest again in a different color I would be tempted to order a medium as I feel like the large is somewhat big even with multiple layers. I just didn't want to take the time to ship it back and wait for a difference size to come.

Shoulders fit true to size, body of vest felt boxier than some of TNF others styles.

I haven't used it yet (which is why I gave it four stars); but, these are my initial impressions. I still have my old Northface coat, purchased in 2004. It's old and awesome and has stood the test of time. This is a reliable brand. I expect this vest to be worthy of that fifth star!
