I really love this coat! I've been needing a new one for quite some time and when I saw it was on sale I had to buy it. It's very lightweight but keeps you unbelievably warm. It was under 30 degrees today but I hardly felt a thing. The only downside is that the decorative buttons on the coat are pretty hard to button up. Nonetheless, I would definitely order again.

This coat feels very comfortable. I live in Brooklyn, New York and we have not experienced below freezing temperatures since I bought the coat, so I hope it lives up to its advertisement for warmth. The sleeves could have been an inch longer; however, I intend to keep this coat.

I like long jackets during the winter. I usually would buy a men's jacket since I like the way the men's fit is more straight up and down and sometimes women's have a more bell shape to them. This jacket is more straight up and down even though the picture does look like it. The arms are just like the picture, more fitted for a women's fit. I'm 5'4 125# I'm usually a solid 8 or medium in women's. I probably "could" have gotten a size small but I didn't want it fitted at all, so I went with the medium. It's roomy but I like it :-)))

I use it Regularly. I wanted a jacket which would be light and warm and stylish at the same time. I found an amazing combination of that. I bought the tan colour.

I bought this jacket for my downtown train commute and it fits the purpose, since it gets cold and windy on Chicago train platforms. The boxy look is very stylish and does not restrict the movements, leaves enough room for thick sweaters. But it does not give that huggy feeling like more fitted jackets. It runs true to size, although the sleeves are on the shorter side, but still acceptable (I do have longer than average arms, and I am usually in between sizes M and L, so I went with L mainly because of the sleeve length issue). If this jacket had those sleeve extenders with a thumb hole, it would have been perfect. Still a great jacket!

Its taken me months to pick a coat for this year, I saw someone with this coat on at the store and had to have it. Searched high and low for my size (which I thought was a small bc my friends TNF coat is a Med) and it was too big. Im returning for an XS if I can find it bc its really a wonderful coat and the color is so stylish!

I live in SW Ontario in a snow belt. I'm really happy with how warm this coat keeps me, even when it's -20. It also looks really cool, I think style and performance can exist in the same garment and North Face is great at this. The coat is a great fit FOR ME, but I don't think it's for everyone. I am very straight shaped and wanted a coat with no defined waist (I like boxy clothes). I'm 5'7", 135lbs and wear the S. It fits me well except for the sleeves being a few cm too short. I think it could be too tight around the hips or chest for anyone who is a different body shape. Really worth trying on before you buy.

Based on the reviews, I decided to go with S instead of my usual size M. S feels good enough, but not perfect. When zipped up, the chest&underarm feels slightly tight, so I've decided to return. It is not bad at all, but i was expecting a more relaxed fit for enough rooms for winter tops underneath. I will rebuy M, and i should've gone with my usual size. Other than that I like the design and quality, as well as color (burgundy). Unfortunately North Face does not ship to an APO address so I had to purchase from other outdoor website who does.

Purchased a medium for a loose fit, probably could have done fine with a small. Will definitely be able to wear a heavy sweater underneath with comfort. love the deep front roomy pockets, but the hook Velcro on the pocket catches my gloves occasionally. Feels a little heavy compared to other similar coats. Only wishes are that it had ribbed cuffs and fur on hood to keep trap the snow.

I had so much hope for this coat as it looks super cute online--it's one of the few coats here with a distinctive style. They didn't have it at my closest store. So, I took a risk and ordered it. The size tool suggested a medium, but I read the reviews that said it ran big. This was my experience, even the small felt too big. Also, perhaps because I am petite (at 5' 1"), I felt frumpy in the coat. It was also pretty lightweight, which gave me concern about how much it would keep me warm when walking my dog in the northeast on winter mornings--I like to be very, very warm. Finally, I wasn't wild about the cedar color, which was a little more mustardy (?) than the photos. I really wanted to love this coat. I returned it instead for a different North Face coat that I very much love.

I'm 5'4" and about 118 lbs and sized down to an XS after reading all of the reviews that said the jacket is oversized (I'm typically a small in everything). I honestly probably would have been fine with a small. The XS wasn't necessarily snug but I think for this type of jacket, it is going to fit a little larger for layers underneath and such, so a small would have been preferred by me. The jacket seems to be really warm, but it's the type of material that shows any lint or dog hair or anything that touches the outer shell. I ended up returning because the zipper puckered out in the chest and stomach very awkwardly for me :(

I love this coat. Born and raised in Montana, you need a good winter coat. Feels lightweight but super warm. I love the versatile front pockets and warm hood. Customer for life!

I've been working all night long in SF and it's been very cold. This down jacket saved me. I'm a North Face fan and I'm totally confident in all NF purchases.

I hike a lot in the winter with my pups and this jacket is perfect. Warm and not too puffy. The bottom zipper is helpful for when you need a bigger stride. Overall a great jacket!

I am using the parka for my go to winter jacket. I love how comfortable and warm it is. The style and fit are great. However, the sleeve length could be a smidge longer.

I love this coat ! I was so happy when I saw it was on sale. I bought the Caramel Brown color and I really like it. I usually go for more neutrals, but I am so glad I went for this one. So warm and light ! A great winter coat for very cold days !

I live in the cold midwest and I do not stay inside during the winter. I read other reviews and decided to try this coat as my go-to walking the dog, running around the city, type of coat. I'm 5' 10" and the "Fit Finder" said I should get an XL since I prefer a roomier fit...however, I went by the reviews and decided to go with Large and there is plenty of room and this was with a very thick sweater. I also found the sleeves to be the right length which was a relief since I read other reviews felt that this was a deficient area. Others also talked about the boxy fit and I was prepared for that look but I didn't think it was that bad when I tried it on. A drawstring at the waist would help, but I'm OK with that not existing. Great fit overall!

This is my go-to winter jacket- so warm and comfortable! I don't really like wearing layers, so this jacket is the perfect fit; it's warm enough that I can wear a short sleeve shirt only without getting cold. This jacket is very windproof, it feels like it's protecting me from the wind and the cold. This was my first ever Northface product, but I am for sure willing to get another product too!

Perfect jacket for your cold winter outdoor activities. The extra length at the bottom makes sure your legs stay nice and toasty as well

I love the coat. However I suggest you size down. You will still have room to layer up, which I do not think you will need to do since the coat keeps you very warm. I wish they had the same colors as the men's version.

This beautiful coat is perfect for my urban lifestyle and I love it. It is well designed (plenty of nice pockets) stylish, warm and comfortable. I think it really "does something for me" so I know I will get a ton of wear out of it. Very pleased with my purchase.
