If you have ever had or liked The North Face Freedom pants in the past, this is going to make you feel like you are slipping into exactly what you'd expect - perfection! My first pair of snowboard pants were The North Face's Freedoms. I've owned one other brand / style and tried one hundreds of others over the years. From my perspective, the Freedom line the best and the Freedom bibs just up the game! If you've been trying to make the bib transition like I have over the past few years, these are for you! WHY YOU HAVE TO TRY THESE: 1) You will be comfortable. Quite frankly, they make me feel invincible. You'll be able to squat without hesitation; no momentary worry about your underwear showing, long-johns becoming un-tucked, or snow getting in the more uncomfortable of places. 2) You can actually use the pockets (if you want to) Sure, pockets on other pants might look cool, but when you can't get your hands into them because the zipper is on the thickest part of your leg...well, they aren't useful. The pockets on these not only hit you at the right spots, but are secure and useful. 3) You won't loose a glove while doing the potty dance in a stall. Sure, the bibs that unzip around your rear are fun and seem useful, but they are not! These bibs don't waste time with a zipper that doesn't work well (e.g. those curved zippers that you have to unzip while reaching behind you and out of your line of vision...yeah, that just doesn't work!). These bibs cut out the fuss and allow you to simply get in and out of them with ease (a.k.a. a straight zipper at your hip). 4) Your top half will look right. There is nothing worse than trying on bibs that fall below your chest, oddly at your nipple line, etc. These are the only bibs that I have found that just felt right. Not too high. Not too low. They are just right! 5) They flatter every time! Let's be honest, there are days and seasons when things just aren't the way you want them to be (hello post-partum, PMS, and mom-life). You'll be comfortable in these bibs when you are feeling and looking your best as well as when you're working toward your goals. No more "here are my skinny pair" (which almost never get worn). These bibs work and flatter at every size. WHAT I THINK COULD BE IMPROVED Don't mistake these as reasons not to purchase. These are notes for The North Face staffers to send to the designers (please, please). 1) A little more taper around the knees and flare at the boot would elevate the femininity of these bibs. This makes us ladies feel cuter. Trust me, we want to feel cute, sexy, sassy and sweet when we're on the mountain. 2) Can we lose the belt loops? Who wears a belt with these? 3) Could a little elasticity / adjustability be added around the lower back to help customize the torso-section fit? You've done a phenomenal job at not allowing us to feel pear-like in these, however, a little more attention to the customization in fit could benefit these.

I bought these because they were an affordable option for touring, I love that they're non insulated and have double chest pockets. I love the side zip but wish it unzipped on both sides not just on the left. These have been great for touring and I'm so happy I bought them.

Haven't been able to wear it on the mountain yet but hopefully soon! This is my first year with a pass and after only going boarding a few times and having to borrow clothes, I finally decided to buy my own. I've never had a bib before and size charts always do me dirty. I followed the chart (which said to get 3 sizes bigger than what I would normally buy) but it was spot on! Fits perfect. Love the color and everything about it! Can't wait to use it on the mountain

I haven't gotten to use these on the mountain yet but I'm loving the quality and fit of these bibs. It will be nice to ride this season without getting snow up my back. Also, thank you North Face for making snow products for plus-sized women so we can get out and shred!

I love these pants so much. They're not the typical boring "ski dress code appropriate" pant. I was talked out of them initially by a very strict skier who said skiers don't wear stuff like that. I then saw people wearing the pattern (coat/pants) at the resorts and REGRETTED not buying them. I stalked TNF's site until my size was in again and ordered them without delay. All that to say, they bring joy to the wearer and isn't that what skiing is about? Bibs just keep you warmer with helping keep your core warm & the pockets are amazing. I can stash my cc and and little necessary items up top in the zippered pocket and snacks in the pockets on my legs. These are so easy to layer in as well. So very easy to use for spring skiing or cold winter snow days.

Great bib for snowboarding. No snow down the pants and has tons of pockets. Order true to size or one up for room to layer

Bought these on sale in the "teal" color, which is definitely navy and matches everything perfectly! I wear knee pads under my snow pants for snowboarding and am able to easily fit them along with a warm base layer. The thin insulation and waterproof material makes them a dream. I love the slim fit without being tight. I've used them in 35-60 degree days and they have been great!

I love this ski bib! It fits just right to my size (I'm 5'3" 120 lbs), I ordered the extra small. The quality of the material is fantastic. I stayed warm and comfortable under very cold conditions.

I LOVE these bibs! I'm an active outside mom (on the curvier end) and these allow comfort, movement, and warmth. I wear them most days for skiing, sledding, etc.

Exactly what I was looking for. Waterproof, perfect length practical and cute. Not too warm/hot so they are perfect with a base layer.

Love love love these pants!! Saved my butt when it came to some wipe outs! No more snow in my pants! Kept me warm for sure! A little long but I am short (5'1). True to size otherwise. Lots of pockets but I could only really use the ones on my chest.

These are my go-to ski pants every time I hit the slopes ! They are comfortable, warm, not too thick (or thin), and are very high-quality. I got the dark purple color and love them. Would definitely recommend !
