I got these for skiing in Southern California. Overall, these pants are doing a very good job. Work well for skiing, probably better for snowboarding. Pros: wind resistance works well during Santa Ana winds. Waterproofing works well against snowy chairs. Comfortable within 20-40F temps. I haven't worn them yet on a very cold or warm day. Breathability seems OK. Color is nice and true to picture. Cons: Waist belt is useless. Way too long. I ended up just using a ski belt through the loops. Pants are a bit baggy for me. Clips on pant cuffs not needed for ski boots but helpful for snow boots.

Love all the pockets, just wish the cargo pockets were zip instead of snap. Plenty of space for base layers on super cold days. I'll definitely be wearing these anytime I'm not wearing bibs.

Use these for resort skiing on the east coast. Warm enough on their own for most days, but easily enough space to accommodate base layers.
