These shoes are beautiful and out of the ordinary in style. I was concerned that the strap across the top of the foot would be uncomfortable, but not so. There is a small piece of elastic that allows movement for the strap and eliminates any kind of stiffness. The shoes are very comfortable and the height is perfect for me. I injured my foot some years ago and higher heels cause me discomfort. These shoes have just enough heel to be pretty, but not too much to cause pain. As with all suede shoes, I know they'll get dirty very easily, but I love them anyway.
