I live in California, so it really doesn't get too cold. I needed something simple and lightweight that is perfect for a CA evening and this Sherpa Lined Jacket was it! Quality is great; shipped super fast; I've already used it multiple times-it's my new go-to jacket! It does say it's waterproof, and it is made out of the same material as the Columbia rain jackets. I haven't worn it in the rain yet. I am not so sure I would use this as a rain jacket just cause the hood is also sherpa lined (and I also have a rain jacket), but this jacket is really what I was looking for to stay warm on those cool CA nights.

You want me to review but you put guidelines, that's not right

My wife purchased this to replace her sherpa lined hoodie from another manufacturer. She loves this jacket. She can wear a sweater under this and it keeps her warm in as low as 30 degree weather. It also keeps her dry in the rain.

True to size, just a little warmer than a regular rain coat, perfect for working out when it's drizzling or attempting snow. I wore this with a wicking T shirt underneath and was perfectly fine for my 4 mile walk in the afternoon while it drizzled.

Very comfortable, and definitely keeps you warm! The material is very nice and slips on super easy

Bought this as a gift for my sister, she loved the color and material. There was a limited stock on certain colors, but she liked it. Its very cozy and soft. I wished it was fully covered in sherpa in the interior but oh well.

Just right for a fall evening football game. Not too heavy and I liked that the sleeves were not lined. I purchased specifically for the rain protection, but luckily the rain missed us.

This jacket is a rare find -- a raincoat that actually keeps you warm in that 40 - 55 degree temperature range. The arms do run a bit long, but I like that. Keeps my hands warm without wearing gloves in the rain. I like that the lining is fleecy around the core, but smooth in the arms and around the bottom so long sleeves slide in without adjusting and the bottom does not cling to pants. Recommend!

Very comfy & works great for weather that is too cool for a light jacket, but not cold enough for a heavy jacket.

Good warmth for northwest weather. Size medium fits good. I'm 5'4" and 149 lbs.

I haven't actually gotten a chance to wear this one out yet since I bought it in the summer time on sale. I did however try it on when I got the coat and it fits lovely and is nice and warm for the colder months when it's rainy and cold. Because Colombia makes good products I'm going to say that the raincoat should be perfect when out and about on a cold rainy day. But should it change or I want to elaborate more once I've actually warn the coat I will make another review.

I was looking for a jacket that will work in the 40 to 60 degree range. I tried it on upon arrival and it feels like it will be perfect for those temps, especially w/ the sherpa interior. I am usually a medium and sized up to a large based on previous reviews. It will allow for layering. I purchased the dark blue and it is a beautiful color. The sleeves are a bit long and the cuffs are slightly on the loose side; however, they should still be fine. Would recommend!

This is the perfect jacket for cooler days and nights.

The jacket is a beautiful color (Malbec). It keeps you cozy without a lot of weight. It's easy to move around in. It's good for layering or wearing with just a shirt. I love the zippered front and zippered front pockets. Good quality and durable and affordable.

As always, Columbia delivers! I love it. Strong, warm, yet lightweight. My favorite feature is the no Velcro design! I'm a 145 pds, small frame, long arms, tall and chesty, and the L fits perfectly.

I'm 5'9 220 ...i should have ordered an xxl. It's a grea jacket, water proof, great for the snow and work. Light weight and warm.

This jacket does exactly what i want it to and beyond. It is incredibly wind proof. It is much warmer than expected but leaves room to be layered. I just received a compliment on the merlot color today. The color is great and i am so glad that i went with the merlot instead of the black.
