Color not as pastel as in the photo. A muddier pink/gray

Bought Mistaya jacket for rainy Vancouver west coast city days when I'm going to work and to wear casually around the city.
I also purchased the Nuri to go underneath when I travelling to Alberta for work in the winter and cooler days on the coast. With the combo I was warm in Alberta during -30C temperatures running to and from office buildings and parking lots. I am not sure if I would have been warm enough for extended outside in -30C with that combo.
I love both pieces.
The only downside is the collar on Mistaya makes it hard to wear the nuri underneath without looking a little sloppy. I would prefer if it had the storm hood so an atom or Nuri was more streamlined underneath.
The Dimma color is a deep eggplant. Love the color, wish it also came in a dark grey, navy or black for a slightly more classic office look.

I was torn between buying this or the Codetta coat. I went with the Mistaya because I am very tall and this is longer. An awesome pick - it looks great in the Dimma colour (dark eggplant) and it's long enough to keep my thighs dry. I've worn it twice in a downpour with no umbrella and have stayed completely dry from head to knees. It has room underneath for a thick sweater or a light puffy. The hood is adjustable and comfortable. I'm going to get a ton of wear out of this jacket. Downsides: I wish it came in more colours, especially black! Also, the raised collar makes it tough to wear anything with a hood underneath - like the Atom hoodie. The hood either flops over the collar uncomfortably or you have to tuck it down your back.

This Gore-tex coat which would no doubt do the job when it comes to keeping out the rain. Unfortunately, I had to return it. It has a slim fit and very long sleeves. Since I'm on the shorter, I really couldn't wear it comfortably. The sleeves were just too long. Probably the coat would best suit a woman who is tall with an athletic build.

Have used this for a year of commute biking through all sorts of weather including winter snow. Tremendously stylish and functional. The hood slides over my helmet easily and the dual top and bottom zip makes both ventilation and leg mobility a breeze. The length is just right for the city as I ride 8ish miles each way daily. Covers the back and looks great when just walking. Sleeve length also spot on for a tiny bit of extra length. Only wish is that the hood adjustment was a little easier to grip with gloves on. When I needed to throw it up with an unexpected rain shower even with fingered lighter gloves it was tricky. After a full year of use I'm convinced I'll have this for at least a decade of use.
For context I'm 5'-7" and around 135. I'd say I have a tube frame -- waist not that much smaller than my hips and limited bust. But not overly lanky. There's muscle in there! I think technically I have somewhat longer legs proportionally. The small fits great - can still squeeze an extra layer to make it easy to ride with this in 20 degree weather but doesn't look baggy without layers

Treated myself to this coat to upgrade my in-city and travel rain gear. I was looking for a rain coat that was longer than my hiking rain jacket, which often rides up when I'm walking and gets my lower back and legs wet. Enter the Mistaya! Great length and upper body coverage, I've stayed dry so far using it. Excited to use it year round here in Calgary. The finishing and quality of the material is
excellent and comfortable to wear with or without layers underneath due to a generous fit that accommodates my curves but doesn't look super boxy. The hood is very spacious and I like the 2 way ability of the main zipper. Easy to pack away when not needed as well.
I would highly recommend this coat is you're looking to invest in an urban piece of rain gear.

I bought this coat just 3 weeks ago, & I had been thinking about it for around 1 year, and I just took the Plunge & I am so happy I did.
Its perfect for this unpredictable English weather, I have the Zeta Lt also for when I am hiking, But the Mistaya is just perfect for my day to day needs, Its smart enough for work, & if it rains, I know it will keep me dry.
The sleeves are a little too long for me, (I think I have small arms :-)) But once I use the snaps, & secure the sleeves in place, There fine.
I bought the M as I am a size 10, & it fits fine, I wear a Fleece underneath & it fits really nice. There' s still a bit of room for movement, so I may invest in a padded gillet for winter weather.
I am so happy I bought this, Such a good Investment,.
If your thinking of purchasing you really wont regret it.

The Mistaya is a beautiful, longer length which is great for around town, walking the dog, even going out. The 2-way zipper is super handy for getting on a bike or when walking briskly. For reference, I'm 5'7",111 pounds, slim build and purchased the size small in Dimma, a pretty deep aubergine color which goes with everything (vs. more black). I was a little worried about the slim cut in this style (I tend to size up for most of my other Arc'Teryx outerwear to accommodate for layers and movement), but the cut of the Mistaya still allows for a layer underneath if it is chilly out (Gamma MX fleece, Cerium Hoody, Nuclei Hoody). A beautiful coat all around.

Was looking for a long rain coat to walk my dog when it was raining and warm. Looked and compared many different items knew the quality was very good, so I though I would take the chance and purchase. Best purchase ever, this is my go to coat when I go anywhere, it is light, easy to pack in it's hood, great for traveling. Rolled up into the hood also makes a great pillow when on a plane or camping.

Flattering cut and length. I purchased the Dimma colour which is a lovely deep purple almost black. Stylish design and quality fabric.

I got this jacket for my long outdoor walks in the city and trails. Love it! Layered with a fleece underneath and stayed dry and warm in this soggy PNW winter. Good hood coverage too!

Perfect if you're looking for a long, waterproof jacket for walking around town. I had been searching for the right long raincoat for years, and so glad I got this one. The extra length is worth it, makes a big difference. Stylish, flattering cut and colour (aeroponic) mean that it looks great whether I'm walking the dog, or wearing it to work, or out to dinner.
Knocked down 1 star as this fabric is not as water repellant as other Arc'teryx goretex fabrics. I have an Arc-teryx Ski Guide Pro shell where the water just bounces off, but with this jacket (even straight from the first time I wore it) the rain will bounce off for a little while, but the water will soak into the fabric on my shoulders within 5 minutes of heavy rain. It doesn't feel wet underneath. Clearly just a different fabric, designed more for the "urban" range, that doesn't bead water in the same way as the more active shells. It still keeps me dry and does exactly what I wanted - keeping as much of me as possible dry in rainy Vancouver.
Would love to see the cut of this jacket updated so the shoulders (specifically the back of the armpits) is cut wider. Its a recurring problem with all women's Arc-teryx jackets, where the L would fit perfectly, except for the shoulder width. I had to size up to an XL, which does leave me with extra space around the waist. Luckily the cut is flattering so it doesn't look too bulky.

I'm 5'8, 140 pounds, and curvy in the hips. This jacket in a medium is perfect for me. It's a perfect outer layer for rainy Vancouver. Lots of room to fit layers underneath, but still fitted enough that it looks flattering and doesn't feel flappy. No bells and whistles, super basic, but that's what I wanted. Other reviews poo poo the hood, but I like it. I have another arcteryx jacket that I would wear for more technical pursuits that has a hood that's better if you are wearing a hooded underlayer, but this one is great for commuting or wearing out for the night when you are more dressed up (ie: not wearing hoodies). My only knock is that the zipper is very fiddly. I'm actually starting to wonder if I got a lemon because the one part of the zipper doesn't line up properly with the other so it often takes me a while to get it done up. May contact customer service about this. Otherwise, love it and fits the bill perfectly. PS: aeroponic colour is gorgeous--a grey green that is so beautiful and a timeless alternative to black.
