I didn't know there was a difference between the baselayer and sport Tee. I have a stack of them and use them the same. I love the soft and warm feeling next to my skin. I have one on right now and it is 70 degrees and I still love it.

My husband loves these Tees. He wears them as undershirts or sleep ware. Very comfortable and wash beautifully. He has several, always the black.

just about everything outdoors - cycling, gravel and mtn biking for base layer, excellent base layer for high intensity sports, winter and summer activities. Wear's well under any dress shirt and for a night out on the town..

These are my go to tees. They're tough, odor fighting and can be dressed up or down. In the mountain southwest they meet the environmental conditions to a " tee"

A few years ago I decided to buy as many different merino T-shirts I could find and compare them. Merino and merino blend T-shirts are not cheap, but are worth it. Off all the branded merino based T-shirts I bought, the Smartwool T-shirts stood out simply because they look brand new after a couple years of constant use. Recently, I decided to buy only Smartwool 150 merino T-shirts. I use them as outdoor wear as well as a dress up base layer T-shirts. Try it. Compare the different brands against Smartwool and watch how the Smartwool T-shirts continue to look remarkable month after month and year after year.

Very comfortable, soft shirt. It fits like a "normal" casual T-shirt, not like a tight nightclub "bro" shirt. Quickly hang dries. Only problem is limited colors! I have purchased 8 so far. Replaced all of my cotton casual T-shirts!

I use it hiking out in the AZ desert. Works way better than cotton or poly!

Lightweight, warm, quick drying. Perfect for 40-50 degree runs

Wow....what can I say?! A relaxed, comfortable tee the works well alone, or in my case, under a hoodie. This made for a PERFECT combo for cool, windy days where the sun can quickly turn you from cool to warm. Extremely versatile, and will not be my last!

This shirt fits absolutely perfectly. I'm a size large (broad shoulders, narrow'ish waist). It's a great shirt for anything you want to do. Climbing, hiking, biking, paddling, going to the bar....

It is larger than my other medium smart wool t's. I'm not getting smaller but I love your products !!!

I love the way this tee fits me. I wore it for the first time yesterday during my workout and did notice that it was somewhat itchy. But I can't knock it too much because I love the fact that you can hang dry it, and the smell and sweat will gradually disappear. Also, I ordered a medium in this tee, and it almost fits like a large, so it does run a little bit larger, but I still love the way it looks on me

Have not worn this yet because it's still cold in Michigan....but I have a couple of these and they are great t-shirts. I probably wear one 10 times before I wash, because they do not absorb odors. My only issue is I wish they fit a little tighter around the neck, but this is really no big deal.

The wool content in the t-shirts keeps dropping annually, and so does my satisfaction in them. Unless I can buy 100% merino (or even 87%) again, I won't be buying them again at all. Sad business, because I'd prefer to live in these things--as they used to be, I mean.

The Large is very long. Is the medium shorter in length? Can I swap it or should I wash it in hot water to shrink it some?

Either the forumla changed, or SmartWool no longer makes T-shirts of the same quality as before. There used to be a Men's Merino 150 Tee with 87% merino wool; this new version is 56% merino wool.

Neck hole is on the large side (size S). Definitely looser than the 150 base layer t-shirt, which I prefer. I might just have a skinny neck, but this just looks a little off on me.

Only 56% merino wool content is not enough in my experience to perform properly in allowing vapor moisture to pass through the fabric. I look for 80% or more for the performance I prefer.

Sweet shirt. Comfortable and classy

I bought a large. It's way too big I'm talking like not even close to fitting. Smartwool has a terrible return policy and does not do exchanges so buyer beware. I'm a large in every brand but a medium in Smartwool tee shirt. Now I'm stuck with shirt that don't fit. Thanks smartwool.

I bought this race earlier this year for use during a 100 miler that didn't end up happening. I finally got around to trying it on...it is enormous vs. every other large that I own from Smartwool. It hangs below the bottom of my jacket (and i'm 6'4"!). I own multiple pieces of smartwool clothing and this one just doesn't hit the mark for fit for a large vs. other SW short and long sleeve t's and sweaters I own. Mind you, the quality is great as always, the fit not so much. I bought this shirt off Smartwool.com.
