I raised & trained sled dogs for transportation and the 1000 mile Commemorative Iditarod Sled Dog Race in the Alaska for 14 yrs. I also operated a custom sewing business that designed and made outdoor clothing because in the arctic, it's a challenge to purchase clothing that works well in severe climates. Due to my unusual experience, I know well made, great winter adaptable clothing when I see it. Now that I live New England, I use this vest for all around winter use; walking the dog, shoveling, hiking, skiing and in the house to cut the heating bill. I also have used this vest as a stylish layer, to wear to work. It's light weight, washes easily, dries fast and always gets compliments. To top off the list, it's made from recycled bottles ! I can not say one negative about this vest.

I have a hard time finding vests that are not too small in the chest & at the same time not being too large under the arms. This one works, not too loose and at the time not being too tight! I am 5’4”, 140 lbs. with a 36.5” chest . I now own this in 3 colors that’s how much I love it!

This vest is lightweight and great. I love that it is made with recycled material! Not too bulky. Great for hikes and running errands on a chilly morning. Great layering piece over my scrubs for work

One of the warmest jackets I have is from North Face. So, when looking to replace my Patagonia vest, I thought I would try the NF Thermoball Eco vest. Yes, it’s lightweight, but the style (on me) was boxy and way too long. I’m 5’2, 108 lbs., and this looked as though I had taken a coat and chopped off the sleeves. Maybe this would look better on a taller person, but it also didn’t work as a layering piece for me - again, way too long. Had to return - so I can’t speak to it’s warmth. As always, I appreciate Zappos excellent service & return policy.

Use it everyday! Running, causal, hiking, etc.

I wear this for hiking, running and just for an extra layer in the house! I bought size small black, it goes with everything I wear and looks great.

Bought this vest in Blue. But the blue was a little too blue for me. So I returned it and bought in maroon. Didn't have that color vest. But now I do. Never too many vests...

Perfect slim fit, color is a gorgeous pale, pale gray. Inside left pocket is perfect for your ski pass, slim tissues or even your mobile. Nice weight for working out inside or out.

I’m so happy I’m purchased this vest. The length is perfect! There’s an elastic draw string on the bottom that can be tightened for windy days. It’s a lot warmer than I expected which is perfect for these chilly fall Days.

Great stylish vest that isn't too warm. Goes well with my outfits and keeps me the right temperature. This vest was a bit bigger than I expected so I reordered a smaller size.

I have an older Northface vest but like the longer back in this one. Love it, just as expected.

Northface already has the reputation of being a great brand so I didn't hesitate spending the cash on this vest for my mother-in-law. The quality and fit is great and I am considering one for myself. Very light weight, but will last the test of time.

Excellent fit go one size up than your normal size as they run one size smaller. Love Northface

Fits just right

I wear it every day when I walk after dinner or run for an errand. Very comfortable and the 2 pockets are good enough for keys, phone and small card holder.

I am enjoy every day.-- This city's weather : May 26/2021, Sunny, 55. The color is closer to light navy blue and it is very useful. Because I can wear it any where more casual than my black North Face vest.
