Best running shoe ever made. I've tried so many both asics and brooks. I've been a loyal kinsei fan since the 3 and after the 6 they dissapeared. You wont find more gel in any other heel and it is noticeable in your heel strike. The foam that Brooks use could never compare in support and longevity. I still run in the 6 and have had them for years. Unfortunately I haven't found anything good enough to replace them and I have tried! So happy to see these return. All that said, I'm not loving the colors of the OG. I'm still getting them though because I know how great they are. Thank you asics!

I am so glad ASICS brought this shoe back!! It may not be for everyone but makes my feet happy. Can't wait for more colors.

Quality constructed, roomy toe, good fit, I wear 9.5, true to size. Nice colors combo, I did switch out the neon orange laces for grey ones, but that's just me, very satisfying for walking n gym use.

I have not had an adequate running shoes since my kinsei's were taken off the market; I'm so glad they brought them back. Great support if you are like me and pound the ground with your heel.

This shoe is wonderful! I was so happy to see it available again and so were my friends. I think I'll together for Carol sold last week for my circl this shoe is wonderful! I was so happy to see it available again and so were my friends. I think altogether four pairs were sold last week just from my circle. The best running shoe made with excellent support !!!

These shoes fit very well and have a great amount of support. A plus is they look so great!

Loved the color, but prefer the feel of the Gel Kayano

I loved my gel kinsei 6 and couldn't wait for the release of this new model. Same feeling in the cushioning but the leather makes the shoe feel so stiff. Can't say I love them as much as I did the 6.

Love the way the grey version looks and the comfort level is incredible compared to other brands. However, if you have the slightest of wide feet, go up half a size. I ordered a 5 but ended up needing a size 5.5 because the top part of the shoe was very tight at my toes. Other than that, its a nice shoe to have - I'd probably buy again if they weren't sold out :/

3yrs ago i bought kinsei6. that's why i choose kinsei again. design and color really good to me, but fit.. not compy.

They are a pretty shoe but sadly they give me blisters on my heels right off the bat.

Since social distancing, I, like many others started running outside. This only meant finding the best running shoes to maximize the fun! I'm no expert or consistent long distant runner but I do have an experience in completing a half marathon 10 years ago in my very first pair of Asics. I know these Kinsei-OG's are not exactly for running and I was right. They're 100% aesthetic and good for moving around, but not for running. I'm used to running in Adidas Ultraboost (probably one of the most comfortable and versatile running shoes all around, can be a bit heavy for long distance though) and compared to those these are not as soft, comfortable or light enough for running. All around a sturdy pair for sure but leather top part makes the shoes stiff and not as breathable or flexible. I have the privilege as I am not financially stuck with having to keep only one pair of shoes but if you're looking to invest in super performative running shoes I would get something else. That said, I will keep these because they're beautiful and they do provide stability for everything else(probably good for lifting and such). If you choose to get them, they're true to size, like my normal walking shoes.

I love the look, but the sneaker itself is so uncomfortable

It is a very attractive shoe. However it os not comfortable like the Asics Nimbus I purchased inthe past. I had to purchase insoles to increase comfort. I am hoping after more wear, the shoe will become more comfortable.

By looking at this shoe, you would think that it would be super comfortable. I mean the name says "gel". I work as a nurse and am on my feet sometimes for 16 hours at a time I also wear compression stockings. By the end of my shift my feet were sooooo sore. Maybe the show is to narrow, IDK. Also after 1 wash the top of the shoe right at the tip came loose from the shoe and the sides are coming loose as well. Will not be re-purchasing, wish I could send back.
