I tried this coat on at the the North Face store and really liked it. It had a nice snug fit compared to my 2-3 year old black quilted North Face I am looking to replace/update. I did not buy it but went on the North Face website later that day and they offered 10% off for your first ever online order. So I ordered it! It just came and it fits great! It will be my go to winter coat for cool to cold weather. For extremely cold temperatures I will use my warmer coats but I feel that this mid weight coat gets worn by far more than all of my other coats, both lighter and heavier weights. I strongly recommend this coat. I am 5'6" and 135lbs. I bought the medium. The small was too tight in the arms.

I love everything about this jacket. It is comfortable, true to size and will be perfect for the cold winter months in Michigan. I was looking for a jacket that is comfortable, not restricting or bulky to wear out and about, to work, etc. It's is perfect for everyday use. As always, another great product made by The North Face.

when going out for any reason

This coat wraps itself around you like a blanket. I am looking forward to being able to enjoy the blustery recesses this winter!

This is my first NorthFace and I absolutely love it! I like the length, the fit and the fact that it's so light. The weather is pretty bad right now but with the jacket on, I'm warm and protected from the rain. I haven't worn it in heavy rain though, so I'm not sure how well it would do there. Overall, 4/5 - this jacket is so great.

The winters get cold and wet and this is exactly what I needed! The coat is long enough to cover my rear end from getting cold and warm enough to withstand long walks during the cold months!

I love that this coat is long enough to cover the butt. I live in Alaska and we always have to layer up; the stretch in the coat makes it comfortable no matter how many layers! This is my everyday coat from October through March!

Fits perfectly except through hip

It was fine, pretty light weight. That jacket bunched and stuck out in my midsection and made me look a bit pregnant even though I don't have much of a belly

Liked the coat,but description did not state it was a "slim". Had ordered a medium. Had to give it to my daughter who normally wears a small. Fits her perfectly.

This coat is great, but it's thin, and does not seem like it would be warm enough for cold winters, so "parka" was misleading to me.

Perfect length and stretches which makes it very comfortable. I bought a medium to be able to wear layers under. Easy to roll up and pack too. Thought it might be keep me a little warmer, seems thinner than I wanted, but still like this jacket.

Love the weight of this jacket but unfortunately, it's not warm enough for temps below 15 degrees even when layered. Outer pockets are shallow and items fall out if not zipped (lost my phone in the snow). Removable hood with zipper would be nice. Main zippers are heavy duty but the outer pocket zippers are not. Overall, it's a nice jacket and I do like it but I was visiting Yellowstone and the temp was -6 to 20 degrees and the jacket wasn't warm enough for my needs overall.

Very worm but looses a pound of feathers every day. Not quite a pound but it is constantly loosing feathers
