I have worn Brooks shoes for years. The last pair I purchased approximately three years ago aggravated and caused achilles tendonitis inflammation which resulted in me having to wear a boot for months - because of this, I was unable to wear a new pair of shoes. I recently tried the Addiction Walker V-Strap but was disappointed when the velcro was not long enough to go across the top of my foot - nor did the shoe feel like a 9 wide. I had to return them. Really disappointed. Brooks has always been good for me.

I walk daily, usually about three miles on paved trails. While these have good foot support, the straps loosen as you walk and the shoes do not feel secure when that happens.

I used these shoes to work in a cafeteria kitchen. The nonslip feature works extremely well. But the shoes are too stiff around the outer edges of the foot and ankle. In terms of comfort they are ok.

A particular health issue makes finding any shoes that fit increasingly near-impossible. These are very nice shoes - as are any Brooks shoes I have ever worn (in the past) so my needing to return is not a problem of the shoes but a big problem with the health condition and finding proper shoes.

I am autistic and live with chronic pain so I need sneakers to wear all day, everyday. Sometimes it's hard for me to tie my shoes, so I decided to give Velcros a try and I've worn these ones every day for the last 6 months! I always need to have both shoes feel exactly the same, so adjusting straps is easier than tying laces and these feel like hugs for my feet. I wore them to the doctor and she liked them, she said they were a good choice. I like the black ones because they match with everything, I asked for the white ones for my birthday because I think they will look nice with skirts and shorts this summer.

This shoe has been my shoe of choice for many years. It was recommended to me by my chiropractor. I am flat footed and needed a stable shoe. Now years later I have be come some what disabled in my hips and I depend on these shoes for good stability. Thank you Brooks for your good quality shoes.

I purchased the shoes for my mother. My mom is 88 years ago so I have been purchased Glycelin and Hoka Bondi 8 for her but she didn't wear the shoes. Because she inconvenience to lace it up when she wear the shoes. Because she is very old woman. So I searched official web-site of Brooks at last I found Addiction Walker V-Strap2. Immediately, I bought the shoes and then gave the shoes to my mom for Holiday season gift. She is always wearing the shoes. She said 'it's very comfortable and pretty sturdy. Thanks Brooks.

I love these shoes- they are just what I was looking for as I work at walking more. My feet love them and also my fingers. I'm going on 91 and my fingers don't work so well at tying shoe laces. The velcro V-Strap is just what I needed. Thank you!

Nice walking shoes!

I will be using these shoes as my indoor shoes. They are feeling good on my feet.

I have been wearing these shoes a year now and no complaints. My back and feet do not hurt after an 8 hour a shift as a nurse in a busy department. I love the velcro straps. I also love I can choose wide to give my toes room to properly expands. I would definitely recommend.

Great support, very convenient

I just love addiction walker extra wide width, it?s my second pair. It?s the only shoe brand I am wearing now, very friendly and convenient with my bunions. I just hope brooks offer more extra wide options for women.

Good support for pronation, balance and alignment. Also V-straps are much quicker than shoestrings when putting on or taking off shoes.

These shoes accomodate my AFO braces very well - roomy and deep enough. They are sturdy but not overly heavy and I like the velcro v strap. Good for

I have worn Brooks Addiction for 30 years and they take the pain out of my feet and feel great. They also help with balance and are a blessing for my husband as we get older. I just wish it was made in 3 Colors including beige.
