Shoe for life. Very safe shoe to walk or run with. Been buying these shoes for more than a decade.
Only recent problem is the nose peels down and gets hooks while walking or running. It happened withing two months of having the shoe. I used black gorilla tape to fix the flapping nose piece. Works ok and is safe now, looks junky that's all. Just worried all my new purchases will have this defect.

i liked the shoe because of the velcro, but they were short, needed 1/2 size bigger, they were a little heavy, i returned them for a different style, bigger size; so much happier with new shoe.

I love brooks but these don't seem as wide. I had to spend additional money for a stretcher to wear them. I have to wear to work and I haven't tried since stretching them.

Fit and size were perfect - best fitting/feeling shoes I've had in a long, long time. HOWEVER, the squeak when the tongue was tightened down with the velcro was unacceptable so I returned the black shoes for another pair in white.

I have worn these shoes for years. When I ordered a new pair last month (October 2022) I was shocked to find that the soles were white and full of little grooves! Where does Brooks expect me to wear them! They show every bit of dirt and pick up every bit of gravel. I don't want black shoes. My previous pairs had gray soles and not many grooves; they worked well for me.

I ordered a wide width and I am very happy with the roomy toe box. And the Velcro straps aid in a good fit. I have very high arches and the arch support is absolutely amazing. But for my foot the tongue and throat are too high, digging in to the front of my ankle. I also find there isn't enough cushioning at the heel cup.

I could feel the "arch support" lump in the shoe with my hand; but, when I walked in them, I did not feel that my arches were supported. Also, even though this shoe is wider than my older Brooks shoes, they seem to pinch my feet a little. Not what I'm looking for. No thanks. These are vastly inferior to my older Brooks Addiction Walkers.

I have been purchasing brooks addictions for quite a while. Now you don't have them in ladies with the laces. For that I am disappointed. The shoes are ok, but now that I getting up in age I feel like I get to wear geriatric Velcro shoes the kinda squeak when I walk.

In the beginning of the first week of wearing them, I noticed some relief on my right side hip. After a few weeks of wearing the sneakers, my left foot started hurting causing my tendinitis to flare up. I mostly wear these sneakers for work I think the soles are hard, not flexible.

These shoes are not slip resistant in the slightest. The second you hit liquid or grease its over. Also not as comfortable as regular brooks. I wish brooks would make a real non slip non skid shoe.

I am so sorry to return these shoes---because I do like the look of them. However, I tried to wear them inside for a few hours each day---but they always hurt the front of my feet...as if they were just not the true length of all my other shoes that I always get from Zappos. I will continue to order more other shoes---because I only will buy shoes from Zappos because of their satisfaction guarantee.

I have been wearing Brooks Addiction walkers for over 10 years...with ties. I decided to try the Velcro closures. I ordered this model in my regular size as the notice about size was somewhat misleading in the copy. At the same time I ordered a half size up: both shoes were TOO short and my toes touched the leather. Ordered again, a size and a half longer...and this one is just too wide, sadly. Guess I go back to ties...which are hard on old backs!

I wanted some easy walking shoes but I hope they stretch. They seem a little snug for an 2E width and a size 9.5. Probably won?t be buying online next time.
