Please ignore my earlier negative review. It turns out I mistakenly ordered a woman's shoe. The men's and women's Addiction Walkers look identical

This is my 4th or 5th pair of Brooks Addiction V-strap walkers. Have always loved them. These are great too. A size narrower than usual after advice from my podiatrist after losing some weight. She says we lose weight in our feet too!!! Who knew?? Now I do. I do notice, however that a small bunion on my left foot is complaining a bit, where it never had before. A large, ugly bunion on my right has been fine and still is. All is good.

Extremely comfortable. The upper strap is a little long and tends to stick out, but so easy to fasten

Nice looking and good shoe but runs small in size. Had to return and reorder half size larger for my elderly mom. The Velcro is great for older people

I love these shoes for comfort and support. They may be a little heavy and stiff, but I have to say my feet feel great at the end of the day after a long day. My only reason for not giving a 5 star review after a couple of months they squeak as I walk. You only hear it while I am indoors, of course.

First, I purchased an 8.5B because I wear the Ghost in that size. My toe came to the end of the shoe and the width was too tight. I returned and now have a 9W. At first, the shoe fit perfectly. After 3 wearing days, the heel slips and the shoes seem too large. The shoes are heavy and putting a stain on my bad knees. The insole is not very cushioned and it is irritating my planter fasciitis at the heel. The Velcro feature is very nice and the leather upper is top notch. Sadly, I'm going to have to return the shoes, given the cost involved. Fortunately, I purchased the Ariel, too, and they are keepers.

I love this shoe! I have a bunion on right foot. I ordered the medium width, and it fits just fine. I'm giving 4 stars because I'm still deciding about the V-strap. The tongue on each shoe doesn't stay centered and needs to be adjusted several times a day. I'm wondering if the tie would have been a better choice. The footbed, however, is 5 star all the way. I am not a runner. I am a senior citizen who had a recent foot injury. This is walking shoe, which I was grateful to find. Running shoes may not always be best choice for walkers.

I hear you are not making the velcro sneakers. when you run out I will not be happy. I feel your D is not a wide enough D or the length is a little too short since my old ones fit better...

I have PTTD and must have on supportive shoes all the time, even around the house. These are working well for that purpose - the velcro makes it so easy for me to take them on and off, my feet slip into them easily, and they have wonderful support. I am able to wear these around my house without any kinesiology tape on my arches - I added my high-arch insoles into them. So, I am using these shoes as winter house shoes and will wear my lace-up sneakers for walking.

Very sturdy walking shoe. Slightly cumbersome to wear but good support. Good sizing. Allows gel insert with usual sizing. Great Velcro closure allows personal snug choice. A bit squeaky when walking due to leather. Definitely not a shoe to use for other than walking. Appears almost 'orthopedic' in style.

I love brooks but these dont seem as wide. I had to spend additional money for a stretcher to wear them. I have to wear to work and I havent tried since stretching them.

Have had failed knee surgery so need shoes that help give me stability but unfortunately the Addiction Walker V-Strap2 was to heavy. The leather upper was somewhat stiff, Nice shoe but with all my foot and leg problems wasn't able to walk properly in them.

Very comfortable, waterproof, and slip resistant for my job in the OR. I wish they were a little cuter with different options, but my feet and back are happy!

I've been wearing these shoes for at least 20 years. Unfortunately they are the only shoes I can walk in. So I'm pleased they are available to me. They give me the support sneakers can not.

I miss the flexibility of shoelaces, but appreciate the ease of the velcro straps. (The shoe feels stiffer.)

These are really good shoes. But for me, after having fusion surgery on my big toe, I’m finding that there is not enough room in the front of the shoe for the new shape of my foot. I’m still trying them out though. Other than that, they are very well-made and definitely worth the price.

My reason for trying these may not be typical. My back is fused and I cannot bend to tie a shoe. I need more support than the clog type I have been wearing and always liked my Brooks in the past. So, that is why I got these. They are still hard for me to put on but I am determined to figure it out. No, there is no one here who can help me.

This is probably the 5th time that I purchased these shoes. But it is also the first time that I felt that the shoes needed to be "broken in". Previously I could put them on and instantly comfortable. This time not so much!
