I work at a restaurant and at first they were the opposite of "slip resistant" but it definitely got better over time. They're giving me blisters, I think they might be more slim than normal brooks running shoes (which didn't give me blisters).

They don't seem to have the support as the 1st Addition Walker which I'd been buying for years. My feet are sore when I get home. They also squeak when you walk.

I have another pair same size and style shoe but had to return these because they were too short.

I was really surprised of how uncomfortable these are.. they gave much such pain in my arches and pain on both side of ankles! Wishing I could get a refund! No go.

I am on my feet quite a bit and was looking for a good comfortable shoe. Several people who I work with recommended Brooks. I purchased a walking shoe rather than one designed for running, but am quite disappointed. They are not nearly as comfortable as some of my much less expensive shoes. I also had forgotten how hot ones feet can get in a leather shoe. I definitely would not order these again.

It is the second pair of Addiction 2 I have gotten. They are not nearly as supportive as the Addiction 1s that I bought in all 3 colors for many many years.

Extremely hard to clean tread......don't step in mud or dog doo. The grit retained in the tread will destroy your floors.

I have worn Brooks Addiction Walker for years and loved them. Unfortunately they have changed the style and no longer offer the beige color I prefer. I thought I could live with the white but it is just too white and will be difficult to keep clean in no time. Not sure what shoe I will find to replace my walking shoe. I do like Asics but I need leather!

they squeak, am sending back. the material on tongue changed causing squeaking. They make way too much noise when I walk in them. I have worn Brooks Addiction Walkers for many years and have always loved them. Can's stand these.

Like the other two pairs of shoes I bought along with these, these were much too short to be a true 9-1/2. Given the shoes' cost, I wouldn't have expected that they would be so skimpy.

Really miss the original Addiction Walker - the Addiction 2 is not nearly as comfortable or supportive - feels like a cheap version of the Addition Walker - any chance you will bring back the original shoe?

I decided to read some reviews first, and was surprised to see so many customers stating my complaints. I have worn the Addiction Walker for 15+ years because I need a supportive shoe that comes in a narrow width. My orthopedic doctor said they were the best. I would get 2 or 3 pair every year and was always happy when the salesperson came out with the same old shoe, no changes. Until this year. The salesman assured me the changes were minimal and mostly cosmetic. I totally disagree! As others have commented, the shoe does not fit the same. There was nothing wrong with the shoe that needed fixing. I am fortunate that my shoe store has a great return policy, as I may have to return them. I am not sure what I can get instead, since there are not many other brands available in narrow sizes. Just please bring back the original design for your loyal customers! I also miss the bone color.

I work on concrete floors. These DO NOT absorb the shock. If you work a speck of overtime; your feet will notice.

I am in my early 20s and a server who works 8hr shifts, 4 days a week and really needed comfortable non slip shoes. These were not nearly slip resistant enough for my job, and they made my feet sore in a weird way. I really wanted to love them but I ended up returning them.

I will have to send this back. Even though I have been wearing Addiction Walkers for about 20 years, and the size 7 has always fit perfectly, the size 7 in Addiction Walker 2 is way too small and tight in the toes. I have purchased a pair of Addiction Walker 2 in a size 8, which fits much better and am currently trying them out.

I've worn the Brooks addiction walker for years. Right out of the box I could put them on and feel my body align till this latest design. The heel of the shoe slants forward severely. The picture you show does not show that but what it does is force my foot forward and jams my toes into the end of the shoe! Please bring back the old design. I've been trying other shoes trying to find comfort again without success so I'm putting up with the problem just praying someone will wake up and realize you didn't need to change the design. You had a great shoe, now you don't! I'll keep searching.

I've been buying brooks addiction for years, two pairs at a time, twice a year. Usually I can adjust to the new design. Not this time. The sole is terrible, slippery, and holds dirt. The design is becoming cheaper every time you change it. When are you going to listen to your consumer? These shoes are crucial for my walking, I wear my orthotics in them. I depend in them! We pay a premium price and expect a premium shoe! HELP!!!

I was so excited when I got these as I've always had trouble finding the right shoes for my feet. I put them on and seemed to be good except the longer they were on the more my feet hurt. I liked the bright white color. I ordered them in an 8 wide, but seems to run small. Very disappointed and will be sending them back.

Nice shoe. Does not provide the support needed for plantar fasciitis. Would not buy these shoes again.

I have been wearing Addiction Walkers for 16 years. The new foot bed is too squishy and not as solidly supportive. I am very disappointed in my new shoes. My feet feel worn out after wearing these for a few hours. These are the shoes are wear everywhere when I am outdoors or away from my home. Please bring old design back.

The shoe was the Addiction Walker II, not a runner. Addiction Walker II still does not measure up to the original Addiction Walker I. Especially noticeable is the lack of height in the heel as the Walker I had. Would I buy the Walker II again? No. Would I buy the Walker I, you bet I would! Brooks really needs to thing about bring the Walker II back.
