This is about my 5th pair of Addiction Walkers, all the same size. These new ones felt fine in the beginning, but after about a week my toes were hurting because they seemed too short. I called and traded for a half size larger and now they seem okay for size. I liked the quality of the leather on all the previous ones better than on these. Does not seem as durable. But I?m grateful for Brooks? policy of being able to exchange them for up to 90 days without charge. Hope you continue making great shoes!

The original walking addiction was the only sneaker I found that helped my plantar fasciitis. This newest version is so disappointing. Too narrow in front half on sneaker & arch support isn’t as good & the tread isn’t that great either.

A well made shoe, good arch support, supports the heel. However I have serious problems with foot pain the require a shoe with thick sole that is "cushy". I returned them and have purchased Addiction Walker Suede, perfect shoe for me.

I've worn the Addiction Walker for several years and really like this walking shoe! I've worn an 8.5 medium for several years. When I ordered that size this year, it was too small. I had to return them and order a 9....which fits like the former 8.5 did. My feet have NOT grown---the mfg obviously decided to cut corners....the design doesn't seem to have changed much.

I am not a runner but I walk & stand on concrete 8-10hr a day. 8000-12000 steps. I have worn Walker I they lasted better than these Walker II. I have had them maybe 6 months Now looking for another brand of shoes.

The left foot fits fine. The right foot needs arch support. Very unhappy with it because it gives me ankle pain and causes my hip to be out of alignment.

They're a little tight in the toe box area. Not really a fan.

There are OK, but not great. However, I will keep them and not return them, but I need to find something with more cushion.

Loved the sole and it really helped on wet bricks etc. But not enough padding under my feet, had to return it.

I wanted a good sneaker for my lower back pain. These were extremely comfortable. However, I'm still contemplating about returning them because of the look of it. They are really ugly and seems like an older persons shoe. My friends have all joked with me saying "you are not buying that sneaker, because you're too young to be wearing a shoe that looks like that".

They are wider than the Addiction Walker 1. In addition they don't feel as supportive. The Addiction Walker 1 is a firmer shoe.

It was very comfortable but not slip resistant on a commercial kitchen floor. Wow! I went to Brooks because they make an awesome sneaker. These gave me support but could slide across a floor. I wouldn’t recommend for kitchen work.

Does not have the support like they used to. Seems soft and a bit floppy. I do not run, I am on my feet all day and usually the Brooks addiction are comfortable and I can go and go, but these not so much. My feet are tired at the end off the say.

This shoe size 8 is the exact same length as my older 7.5 Brooks leather walker - so I have to return - since my foot grew. I also do not like the insert - the arch is too high - good arch support does not means it supports your arch, but does not mean it is so high that it hurts and your arch is support your body weight. I called and unfortunately Brooks no longer sells replacement inserts since with a different insert it could be quite a good shoe - or if you have high arches - I have average.

Liked the original Addiction walker better. Tread is not as good as the original. Doesn't provide the support I need. Probably will not buy again. Also cost more.

I bought 2 pair because I loved the way the old version fit and felt. They fit differently than the previous version. I had to return and get a different size. They are not as comfortable either. Maybe I shouldve got an even bigger size and bought insoles

Was hoping that the TOP of the shoe would be redesigned... the back part was fine.. I tried the Addiction Walker 2 and they seemed to have a different "fit" so I returned them.. thanks... joan

I have several pairs of running socks, as in around 10. Some were advertised as running socks, some aren't specifically running socks, but they just work well. Outside of the Brooks name, these don't scream running. I wants a longer set for those cooler runs. What I appreciate - these are just comfortable. No extra padding that can feel like something's stuck to my foot. These are also light on the foot. I suspect I could use these with my hiking boots and be just as happy. These aren't cheap, but they seem to be quality made, like they will hold up for years.

I was looking forward to these shows, since Brooks has discontinued my favorites in my size. But something was wrong- perhaps they were mis-sized. I could not even get my left foot into the left shoe.
