Have carried mail for 21 years and been faithful to this shoe but it is starting to seem as though the quality has steadily gone down while prices increase. Don?t last near as long as they used it.

My toes hit the ends of the shoes. The width was ok. They looked plasticky and rigid. I will be sending them back.

Had to return. Really wanted to like these shoes. But they were sized about a whole size too small.

The weight of the shoes is too heavy, especially bad for those of us who have bad ankles and knees. Being leather they are too hot to wear in the summer. I would love a walking white shoe in mesh for warmer weather. Want white because it goes better with summer time clothing. I wear Brooks size 9, 2A width (which is very hard to find), neutral shoe 24/7. It's a rare day that I wear anything else. Love Brooks - just wish they came in white or pastel for summer.

I purchased these shoes for work. I am a nurse on my feet all day and I loved that these shoes could be wiped down easily and offered a little protection from spills. I had been wearing a Ghost 13 and loved the comfort! This walking shoe seems much heavier on my feet and my plantar fasciitis has really flared up since I've been using them. Comfort for me, is more important so I'll be purchasing another pair of the Ghost 13.

I am disappointed that the shoe has changed to much. It has to much room in the hills that I have to lace them tight. There is no cushion in the tongue so I have developed a sore and burns from the rubbing. I have been buying them for years but I am looking at other brands to replace this shoe. I am not happy with the changes made to the shoe.

My review is mixed. I too have worn these particular shoes for years. I personally like the fact that when you take out the removeable insole the shoe bottom is soft. I need the extra cushioning. However the top of the shoe has been lowered and when I put in my custom insert, it doesn't take long for my toes to meet the top of the shoe and begin to chafe. I also feel the material is plastic feeling. Over all disappointing. I like the suede shoe better. It is the 1st time I've tried them.
I'd also recommend:
None really.

I am in between here and looking for an answer. I love the Brooks Dyad and that's the only sneaker I will wear! I have been wearing the Dyad for 14 years exclusively. I was looking for the Brooks Dyad walking shoe and have not been able to find it. So my question is this. Do you still make them? If not is this the replacement? Thank you

I?ve never had a problem with these Brooks shoes until this pair. Doesn?t feel totally leather, tight across top and side. Disappointed.

They do feel rather "clunky". Big and not streamlined- but that's ok if they help my back. Plus, at my age, I don't really care about "sleek" cute tennis anymore. So far I don't see a difference in my back pain, but I only wear them when I'm on my walk.

I was looking for shoe with a sturdy, inflexible sole at the forefront due to a previous foot injury. For having such a thick sole, the part of the shoe where the ball of my foot is was pretty flexible. The tops of the shoes also go a bit high, so I can feel it poking into my ankles with every step. These ones will have to go back.

I ordered my regular size, 8.5 W, but it wasn?t wide enough. I returned it and ordered Dyad which is a little roomier.

The feel less sturdy than the last pair I bought. The fit is fine and they are comfortable.

Have been buying a new pair every three months, Have a very narrow foot. The leather stretches out quickly. This new design uses the same lacing idea that the SAS extra narrow walker does. The SAS shoe did not work, could not help but walk right out of the shoe after a half hour. This might begin to happen with the Walker II. Then I might have to try New Balance who uses a 'last' that is not friendly to my feet. I wish I was born with wide feet. Time will tell.

I bought these shoes because they were suppose to be the best walking shoe for plantar fasciitis. I have been wearing them now for several weeks with no real improvement, so I am a bit disappointed. They were pricey but I thought it would be worth it to get rid of walking pain. Was going to contact brooks for a possible price adjustment.

I returned the shoes, they were to tight. I believe I need a size Med. Hope you can make the change in a med size and a neutral color. Thank you again.

I think the shoe size runs small. Or the design is such that it pushes my toes to the front of the shoe. Other than that they are comfortable.

My feet often hurt. I bought the wide , but had to buy the widest width later. It hasn't helped. The balls of my feet hurt constantly, because the padding has thinned so much from walking on them for years as a nurse. My podiatrist recommended Brooks, so I got them. I used to wear Brooks, when I could afford them, but I also wore orthotics. I wear an insert the Dr gave me, but it doesn't help. I've been disappointed with Brooks shoes for a while. The last pair I wore, a different style, wore out in the front toe after only a few weeks wearing them. I think your quality & value have gone down quite a bit.

The product was well made, however, I had to return it. After not having plantar fasciitis for more than 6 months, I had a flare-up after wearing these shoes for 2 days.

They seem to be wearing very quickly. I suffer from supination and purchased these shoes because of the roll bar and they claim to assist with they. I haven't even had the shoes for a month yet. However, they are comfortable.
