So happy to find a company that produces a comfortable solid shoe in narrow. They are very comfortable even with my very high arch.

Fantastic support. Always trust Brooks. I have plantar fasciitis and these are the best shoes for work, walking and standing.

Way too heavy and inflexible, and they dont help with overpronation enough to endure those issues.

Bought these shoes in white for clinicals for nursing school because I have heard such good things about Brooks. These are the most uncomfortable shoes that I have ever worn. I come home from the hospital and cry because of how bad my feet hurts from these shoes. There is zero support, feel like I am walking on bricks all day and I thought that maybe I just needed to break them in, so I didnt return them after the first few wears, but i wish that i did.

I am surprised that with the wider width, there is not much more room in the toe box area. I have relatively narrow feet and these feel a bit snug. Also, they squeak. I am hoping after breaking in, the squeaking will stop.

I bought these shoes for work (I work in healthcare and walk a lot throughout my days) and to wear for travel as a nice but comfortable shoe option. These shoes are supportive and very versatile when choosing outfits. Since they are leather they don't breath as easily so my feet occasionally get hot but it'll be great once winter hits. It took me a couple of days to break them in, as they were a little stiff at first. I typically wear a 7.5 in brooks and these fit true to size. I love these shoes!

This is my 6th pair! I discovered this shoe over 10 years ago as an avid walker and event coordinator for an outdoor shopping center that hosted 65 events a year. I easily walk 10,000 steps a day and an additional 20,000+ steps for each event so I needed a comfortable shoe. Brookes Addiction Walker became that shoe! Theyre also nice looking and very durable! Last 18 months or more, looking and feeling close to brand new. The only walking shoe I will wear, everywhere!

I don't like the shoe; it feels too heavy for everyday walking. I didn't return the shoe because I wore it out twice.

I am a huge brooks fan, its all I have run in for the last 6 years. So when I needed a comfortable, all-day shoe for nursing school, they were the obvious choice. I chose the Addiction Walker because of the boasted support, slip resistance and meeting the dress code requirements. While they are slip resistant and hold up well to water etc (hence the second star), they are so uncomfortable that I cant wear them, even after several weeks of trying. They seem to be angled in a way they tilt my feet forward so my toes are crammed and my heels have a big gap - I find myself hitting my heal on the ground to shift my foot back in shoe. Also, whatever the support is, its not arch support, my arches ache badly after just a few hours of wear. Finally, there is an odd tightness at the top of my foot, doesnt matter how I adjust the tightness of the laces.

I needed a walking shoe. A friend recommended this brand. I wanted something that didn't read "athletic" so I could use it for a dinner out . Bought this before a trip where I would be doing a lot of walking. My orthotic fit and the shoe was all day comfortable. The toe box was roomy and didn't rub on my bunion. I wore these with heavy socks. My first pair of this brand and I'm very happy with it. When I need an athletic shoe for workouts, I will check definitely consider this brand.

These shoes are used by my wife for work. They are stylish and pass off as professional looking shoes. They fill in all her check boxes for purchase going off the description provided. The only thing about them that at the very beginning of use they are very stiff. But after about a good week of breaking period they softened up and she is really loving them. If your looking for a no frills work shoe this might just be the one for you as well if you do a fair amount of walking around they really help ease your foot aches to a minimum at the end of a long day. Almost forgot it does have a reflective badge on top of the back of the heal. It doesnt stand out at all during the day but at night for example if your walking home after sunset after work theres that added safety glow that kicks out your movement and helps you stand out.

These shoes were very comfortable, but I ordered them exclusively for the reason that they said they are slip resistant. Shoe does not even start to be slip resistant! I was so disappointed, I will have to send them back, as I could hardly stand up at work, food service. They were plenty wide , I did order the wide.

I use these shoes for walking in cool/wet weather. They are not waterproof but good for an hour if it is not a downpour. They have enough padding and arch support to be comfortable for my 2-3 mile walk plus much of the day. Some time later in the day my feet feel an urge for a softer shoe.

My spine doctor told me I should do a commercial for Brooks! After dealing with back and hip pain for about 20 years, a friend suggested Brooks. We were in a shoe store and I couldnt walk to the back of the store to look at them. From the first second I had no more hip pain and could walk up and down the aisles!! No doctor had ever recommended getting orthopedic shoes. Yet now I see that almost every medical professional Ive seen has been wearing Brooks. They reduced pain better than surgery and medications. I will be getting another spinal Cord Stimulator soon and know I will be able to walk about 10 times further with the combination of Brooks and the stimulator. It is like a miracle how much these shoes have helped me. I now have 4 pairs. Worth every penny invested in my wellbeing!

These shoes are advertised as non-slip. I purchased these shoes to wear at my restaurant job and had to take them off shortly after due to sliding and slipping everywhere. Not only were they not slip resistant enough, but they were a bit narrow and stiff compared to other Brooks shoes I have purchased in the past Unfortunately I will be returning these and use Brooks brand shoes for normal casual wear only.

Looks good in a work ensemble, but as for comfort it's a bad shoe on an 8 hour work day. No padding, no spring in the step. Would not recommend. 0/10 feet are sore every day from work.
