I?ve worn this style of shoe for what seems like 20 years due to a foot injury. They are the only shoes that don?t end up hurting my foot after a day of wearing them. For years I bought them at a local shoe store but they went out of business so I found the Brooks website and started purchasing here. Knowing nothing would work as well as this model, I ordered what I thought would fit using info from my last purchase. I was wrong, I needed a half size up. I went in line to start the return process. The site told me I would be credited once they received the return. That was fine with me, but today I dropped off at the post office and a short time later received an email from Brooks and then PayPal that my refund had been processed and received. Please don?t let buying from Brooks Running on line scare you, the are super easy returns with lighting fast payment refunds. At the same time I entered the return info I ordered the next half size up. They also showed up quickly and are perfect, again!!

I'm a letter carrier for USPS. The Post Office finally approved carriers the ability to choose shoes other than what we can get from the uniform store. Those shoes are just ok. There was always a time of "breaking in and getting used to" a new pair of shoes. My feet would hurt for about a week and need to take my old shoes with my so I can switch halfway through the day. I looked up shoes that are recommended by podiatrists and Brooks came up as one of the top 5. I chose these because we still have to have certain parameters for shoes, black leather uppers and non-skid sole. These shoes are a game changer for my feet!! There is no "breaking in" or "getting used to a new pair" of shoes. My feet aren't hurting and actually still feel good at the end of a 10-12hr day. I like the removable insole so I can replace it with my orthotics. The toe box is wide and doesn't squish my toes. I wonder if I had a choice at the beginning of my 30 yr career, if I would have the feet issues I do today.

I don't run in these shoes. These are my work shoes. I am on my feet in a laboratory setting all day. These shoes help my tired aching feet. :)

I've worn shoes for about 3 years and I can't wear any other shoe.when I get a new pair there's no breaking them in. My last pair lasted me a little over a year.please don't stop making these shoes

Perfect for walking, just having had a spinal fusion....all I can do is walk and it truly is a miracle. The shoes are solid but not heavy, great arch support. Definitely have been telling my family and friends Brooks are a MUST have

Fits great the only issue is I thought they were leather like my old shoes. Didnt find out till I recieved them they weren't. But still very comfortable

I am getting a replacement as the 8 medium size came in like a narrow 7. It is my constant go-to shoe. It has never come in miss-sized before, probably someone put the wrong label on. I have Ehlers Danlos and Lipidedema so I need the stability of this shoe. I wear a white and black pair yearly.

I've been wearing this brand of Brooks for years and they provide the support for walking that I need.

Bought the white ones for nursing school and they are the comfiest shoes I've ever owned!!
