They look and feel nice, but 4 stars due to they aren't as sturdy as the older Addiction Walkers.

Not the same shoe as last year. Have worn theses for years but this time they have Changed the manufacturer... beware... plastic and cheap looking, not the same shoe at all.
Looks like a postal workers plastic black shoe... awful

I'm on my feet for my whole shift at a hospital, and I have had plantar fasciitis for coming up on two years now. I have worn the Beast, which I really like, but thought I would this shoe out for something different. It was labelled as max cushion, like the Beast, etc., and so I thought the shoes might resemble each other in ways. The Walker is a solid and sturdy feeling shoe; however, there is a definitely a different feel when walking and it feels a little less natural than my normal gait. I am going to continue wearing these at work at times, but I do not foresee buying this model/style again.

long time user Addiction Walker. Recently bought Addiction 2. Very disappointed in the shoe. Did not offer much cushioning when walking or lateral support. Will not purchase another pair. Should Brooks discontinue the Addiction Walker, will probably look to another manufacturer for my next pair of walking shoes

They are like walking on air. These feel better than the last two pairs of New Balance walking shoes that I have purchased.

I just purchased my third pair of the Addition Walker shoes. I don't wear them at work so I'm not in them everyday, but when i do wear them they are very comfortable. Obviously I'd buy them again!

I've worn pairs the original version Addiction Walker shoes for many years, always 10.5 size. I ordered the new version, only because they don't have the original anymore. The new version 2 runs much smaller in size - my toe hit the front, and holding old and new side by side, the new version was 3/8 to 1/2 inch shorter. I had to return them, and don't plan on ordering a new pair unless I can find a local shoe shop that has them in stock so I can try them on.

Bought these shoes for my 73 yr old father who does a min. of 10,000 steps a day. Perfect for his walks. He loves the new style. Plenty of support.

Great shoe, lots of support and room in the toe box. Good quality materials and workmanship. I needs to come in more colors - or maybe with color highlights to look a bit more athletic.

I like the shoe but had to ding it one star because it provides no traction on my treadmill. Something about the bottom of the surface makes it slip and slide on my treadmill which has a similarly textured surface. My Addiction Walkers 1 do not have this problem as they lack the heavily textured surface.

Due to gout and arthritic toes - not to mention a ligament tear in my ankle on the same foot, it's really hard to find shoes I can wear. I haven't been able to do too much walking as of yet but so far so good.

I’ve been wearing addiction walkers for years and the Addiction walker 2 is a big improvement. The prior model offered excellent support for overpronators but the shoe was exceptionally slippery on wet surfaces. The addition of a slip resistant sole. is a big upgrade.

This was a replacement from an earlier version. The same size is much wider, even though I got the narrow. But it fits with a thick sock and my orthodics. It is super ugly, compared to the earlier version. It only comes in black (for postal workers) and white (for old people that hang out in senior centers in Boca Raton.) The leather, if it is really leather, looks like plastic. I kept them because I didn't want to go out shopping, and obviously Zappos delivers.

I have neuropathy in my lower legs and feet. The Addiction Walker has been the most comfortable shoe on the market for me for the last 8-10 years. I have owned 20 pairs with great satisfaction. The new model, called the Addiction Walker 2 does not measure up to the previous model. There is less cushioning in the forefoot. Also the comfort/quality of the new tongue and the quality of leather are subpar. The insole is improved.

I didn't have to "break in" these shoes at all. They have to be the most comfortable shoes I have tried on yet. I will buy the white color in the future.
