It's a decent shoe. Comfortable and sturdy but not very durable unfortunately. I average about 7,000-10,000 steps a day and they breakdown after about 3 months.

Use for walking. So far, good cushioning and support. Comfort also seems good. Too tight to fit my orthotics in the shoes. Would order a larger size next time.

I like them. I can wear them as semi-dress shoes.

Fit is good - makes a big difference in taking away pain when walking longer distances. Solid shoe - take care of your feet and body with these shoes.

Not bad but the insole is very thin and doesn't do much and there is very little arch support. There could be more room at the top of the shoe as well. The back of the shoe is a little too wide and my foot moves around a little I suggest buying 1/2 size larger than your usual size.

Toe box too shallow. Makes me long for Addiction Walker 1

I've always been a Brooks footwear fan. I wore their running shoes for 14 years of Marine Corps service, putting many miles on each pair without issue. I bought these addition walkers 2's thinking it was a solid investment as I now work as a civilian standing 8-10 hours a day. The shoes have destroyed my feet. Specifically, heel pain....and lots of it. Now I must soak my heels in an ice bath daily to fix the issue. I caution anyone who thinks these shoes will be good for long periods of standing, because they are not. Stick with the adrenaline version.

Had quite a few pair of AW1, then they changed it. Doesnt fit right, and shin splints have returned, after being gone for years when I switched to the original AW1. Prob will try NB now.

Offers same support as Beast series, but stylish enough to sub for dress shoes.

I have arthritis especially in my feet. Best shoes ever. Tennis shoes or work shoes. Nothing but Brooks

Seemed to run a bit small. Had to get used to a walking shoe -- supportive, well built. I've worn Adrenalines for years and love them. This is a walking shoe, much stiffer than the Adrenaline running shoe. Seems like it will be a good shoe for the winter (in central NY).

I was looking for a shoe that would be good to stand on my shop floor (concrete). The adrenalin did a far superior job.

Great leather. Solid support. great foundation. Poor heel cup which allows some major slipping. Hopefully that will go away with added wear

Not as cushioned as I would like and little stiff (inflexible). Overall, still a comfortable shoe.

Great support! The slip resistant soles are amazing. No comparison to a pair of skid proof work boots while on a Metal roof. These walking shoes gripped the roof with little effort. Safer on wet or slick surfaces. They look good and they are comfortable. Highly recommend.

The are very comfortable, with no break in time. I walked over a mile the first time I used them. They are easy to keep clean. Thanks

The shoe is very comfortable fits and feels great . The piece on the front of the shoe has come off the shoe. I am going to bring it to a shoemaker to have it glued back on . That is the reason for 2stars . I would have given 5 if the piece didn't come off

I found the Addiction 2 to be much more comfortable than the Addiction 1. Spent several month's just wearing them around the house for several hours each day before committing. I had some problems with the Addiction 1, namely the higher arch support and the tread design on the soles. Walk outdoors a lot, 5 to 8 miles a day. The higher arch support on the 1 would not allow the foot to set in the shoe in a natural position in my opinion and some calluoses developed on the outside edge of my feet. The tread design was occasionally a problem in wet weather. I don't know how the Addiction 2 will work over time, but right now they are much more comfortable than the original in my opinion. The shoe looks better too. Remember, opinions are worth exactly what you pay for them and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

After much research I purchased a pair of Addiction Walker 2's to help with disc problems in back. Super light-weight and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
