Prefer the addiction 1 over the addiction 2. I had to size up for the toe box to fit properly.

My orthotics specialist had recommended another style of Addiction shoe for my brace and when I tried to order it on line I ended up with this. When I walked in it I developed a bad blister just above the heel. That is better now and the shoes seem to be not causing any more blisters. It is a comfortable walking shoe with my brace

I was concerned that you discontinued the origional Walker. But these see to be OK. I definitely wish you would bring back the brown (felt) leather ones.

I have been using AW for many years, the positives compared to the originals walkers. The insole and tread are n the bottom of the show lasts longer than the previous model, but 2 times I have slipped and went down on the ground wearing these shoes. It could have been my error but I never slipped wearing the old addition walkers. I am satisfied with them

Not as comfortable as the older version of Brooks Addiction Walker. Since I'm a senior citizen I like lighter weight shoes. Not sure but this shoe seems a little heavier. I could be wrong. Style-wise, the older version is more attractive. Overall, I still like this shoe.

great shoe. I have a hard time with shoes being painful, theses shoes have gone a long way to making my feet normal.

Nice fit on wider feet. Very comfortable for my daily walk and looks a bit better than the older version that I replaced.

The shoes are pretty comfortable. I don't run, just walk. I need cushioned shoes to ease the stress on my back. I actually haven't needed to put new insoles in these because they are ok as is. I've been wearing your shoes for years. I wear them all the time, all year and they hold up. I'm retired, so I can wear sneakers all the time. I would like to see more variation in the colors, though.

I love my addiction Walker 2 shoes. These are my outside working shoes. Doesn't allow water to penetrate and are very comfortable and dependable. The only thing on the downside is that they look like old people shoes. But comfortable.

I'm not sure yet. I have very difficult feet (arthritis) and I am not sure the Brooks shoes will work. Ask me in a few months after I';ve worn them some more.

This is my third pair and I was disappointed to find out that the Addition Walker does not have the same insole as the two previous pair I have. I have some special needs concerning my feet and the Linear Platform insoles that came with my first two pairs worked very well. I wear out insoles quickly because I modify them, therefore I need a supply of adequate insoles to modify for my special needs. The jury is still out on the adequacy of the insoles in my current pair of shoes.

This is my third pair. I have flat feet and a bunch of bad joints hanging around above them. The Addictions support my sorry carcass better than any other athletic style shoe I've found. That said, I would like to see a bit more support in the front of the sole. It seems to me that this walking shoe shows its running shoe roots just a bit too strongly.

They look and feel nice, but 4 stars due to they aren't as sturdy as the older Addiction Walkers.

I'm on my feet for my whole shift at a hospital, and I have had plantar fasciitis for coming up on two years now. I have worn the Beast, which I really like, but thought I would this shoe out for something different. It was labelled as max cushion, like the Beast, etc., and so I thought the shoes might resemble each other in ways. The Walker is a solid and sturdy feeling shoe; however, there is a definitely a different feel when walking and it feels a little less natural than my normal gait. I am going to continue wearing these at work at times, but I do not foresee buying this model/style again.
