Too heavy. Soles too smooth and prone to slipping.

I have enjoyed wearing these walking shoes. They are comfortable and I need support because of flat feet. Mainly wearing them with my work clothes or suits as its the style.

Sole is too hard. Uncomfortable to walk. Grip on wet pavement is not good. Not made for walk in city.

I love these for walking as intended. Lots of support, also good for standing. Small issues, as mentioned in other reviews they are snug so since I normally wear an 8.5 I ordered a 9 which fits perfectly on me. They will also do well in cold weather, no mesh! They do make some noise, but my hearing is going anyway and I wasn't planning on doing much sneaking up. Also as noted by others, I would readily buy a pair in brown.

Great shoes with a perfect fit for me. The only issue is that they can get a bit hot. Otherwise great construction quality and good arch support. 11.5 Medium.

Shoe is fantastic. Sturdy and has tough leather that rejects scuffing. However, I am taking one star off because the shoe squeaks like crazy. The problem is the material that the tongue is made out of. The laces rubbing on the tongue when walking is very noisy. It's like wearing a cowbell.

Once I got in my 60's I started experiencing foot pain, especially in the forefoot. Shoes I used to wear didn't work, even with a custom orthotic. So it has been a struggle finding shoes that do work for walking and all day wear. Something firm, but with a little extra (but not too much) room in the forefoot. These walker showed up in may lists of "best walking shoes". I paid attention to reviews that indicated they run a little small and a little narrow, My usual size is 11 or 11.5, regular width. For these I went with the 11.5 2e width and they are perfect. I also like that they are firm soled and not cushy as I have noticed my feet hurt more after a day in a soft, flexible cushy shoe. I have only had these a month so I can't speak to durability. They are toasty and I live in a cold climate so that is good. I just spent 4 days in Seattle walking all over the city wearing these every day with no foot pain!

Very good support since wearing these shoes the past 2 weeks many of my pain areas have disappeared. The Arthritis and bone spurs on my left foot have MOSTLY disappeared.

Heavy, squeaky, stiff and uncomfortable. Haven't been able to break them in over two months. So stiff that my feet hurt. I love the addiction sneaker but these are going back. Very disappointed

A near perfect fit and very comfortable. Could be a little lighter but that is not a major issue. I love this shoe.

These are really comfortable, wear well, and look nice. I don't run...but I'm on my feet all day, every day, walking. I found these from a recommendation from a runner friend, at a local store. My only complaint is that I wish I could still get them in dark brown, too. In brown, I could get away with these as business casual, believe it or not, and I prefer brown to white anyway. In a dress shoe or most athletic shoes I'll wear a 10.5 US medium. In these, I prefer an 11 medium (D). They're snug but not at all tight. I have a long stride, so most walking shoes will pinch the back of my heel, but these are low enough in the back that they don't. Plenty of clearance in the ankle area, too.

These are not my favorite Brooks compared to my other Brooks. They're not comfortable and after an 8 hour shift , my feet hurt. What's bad about my situation is I work in an office setting and walk about 1.5 miles a day. Also, they squeak whenever I walk and in Louisiana, they're hot. I guess I should have bought the suede to combat the heat and the squeaking. I do not recommend. Maybe with better insoles they would perform better, but then why buy them if the insoles need replacing? I also find the toe box slightly tighter than my other Brooks.

My daughter uses them for work in the school kitchen. She needs supportive shoes that are nonslip and these are the best that shes purchased. She also wears Adrenaline GTS for casual wear because shes always on her feet.

I am pretty disappointed. They are not that comfortable and not nearly slip resistant enough. For the price these should have been much better and I doubt I will by Brooks again.

Comfortable shoe, appreciate the narrow B width availability. The shoe appears to be made of vinyl as opposed to leather, which is fine by me, except the shoe is very noisy with every flex.
