This is an outstanding shoe. It's the third pair that I've purchased. The support on the shoe is so good that I don't even need to use my orthotics. There's nothing else out there that even comes close to the Brooks Addiction Walker 2 in terms of comfort and support. They're also very well made. Expensive but worth it.

Great sneakers for the wide feet!

I have bought these shoes every year repeatedly and they were the only shoes I would ever wear due to my wide feet for the first time I'm returning a pair because they were pinching my feet badly and it was the same size that I purchased before.

I always by the same size in this shoe and always fits good but for now they are backup pair.

These shoes fit perfectly from the moment they are put on. No breaking in is necessary as with other shoes.

Overall these are quality shoes, but on the other hand I’m not a fan of the style or comfort (for these specific shoes) especially given the fact that Brooks are the best brand out!! I’m a delivery driver for Amazon so comfort and durability are essential! I will say these shoes are very durable and water resistant… I tend to wear these in poor weather rain/snow! I just bought a pair of Brooks (addiction walker suede) for nicer days. If these are similar to the addiction 13’s (which I already have) I will be very happy! Nike, adidas, new balance & Reebok STAND NO CHANCE against Brooks! #BrooksBestOn TheMarket???????????

Bottom line: Buy them. This is my 5th pair over the years and I continue to purchase them. They are walkers, not formal, not running. The sole is rather flat which works well for walking. The fit is correct and there is reasonable arch support - just enough. They are very comfortable and easy on the legs and back when walking. They have a loop about halfway up the tongue and near the top to help keep the tongue in place - very nice. The only issue I have had is that a seam might start to split after 1-2 years or the rubber front bumper can start to detach. In both cases, I have applied glue and it works fine. I wear the same pair all day every day and they seem to last about 3+ years.

The reviews I read by those who had been wearing addiction 1’s lead me to delay trying these 2’s. Truth is there not the same but they’re good. My 15 M’s are a good fit.

Very well fit and comfortable. I love the style. I do a lot of walking at work, and these are great all day.

Excellent fit, materials are OK, I would and did buy them again.

The original version was the best shoe I ever wore, I bought them for years and years. Comfortable, thick enough for winter, sturdy, fantastic for flat feet. The new version is awful. Too thin for winter, uncomfortable, inflame plantar fascitis. More like sneakers than a walking shoe. They look cool, but it's style with the substance completely gone. Wish I'd known the originals were being phased out, would have bought several pairs--which I'll do if they bring back the original.
