I recently bought a pair of these. After wearing these a couple of times I have decided I can't wear them. By the time I am done for the day my feet hurt, my back hurts and my knees hurt.

I've been buying these shoes for 15 yrs. I loved them and recommended them to everyone. Just bought a new pair and was shocked.
Negatives: The shoe changed. Harder (stiff) soles... and slip prone (smoother). Not for snow states. Slightly smaller toe box. Walkers need a little give in the toe box area. If you are on you feet all day this isn't the shoe for you.
Positive: Style upgrade.
I would not recommend these shoes going forward.

With the Addiction 2, Brooks has made my favorite shoes shorter, wider, less cushioned. It’s very disappointing for those of us who have hard-to-fit feet For this style to change so drastically for the worse. I tried a few different sizes and widths before I gave up, went on eBay and bought as many unused pairs in the old model as I could find.

The Brooks Addiction 2 look like cheap plastic knock-offs. What happened to the previous model that fit better and looked nicer. The Addiction 2 is smaller and uncomfortable. They were sent back.

Way worse and cheaper in every way than the old ORIGINAL Brooks Addiction Walker. Less leather more cheap plastic. Not as sturdy, and solid.
Do NOT buy this if you liked (or loved as I did) the ORIGINAL Brooks Addiction Walker.
Any suggestion on a good replacement shoe?

Bought this because of great experience with several previous orders of the Addiction Walker. But this (Addiction Walker 2) is nothing like the original -- which has apparently been discontinued. Much less comfortable soles. Greatly reduced room in the toes. Inferior quality. Seems like a much cheaper shoe that they've slapped the brand on. Premium price, but very disappointing fit, quality; and no consistency with previous products.
Absolutely not worth the price. Unfortunately, I was so confident after multiple previous purchases that I wore these immediately -- straight out of the box and off to work all day -- thus "NO RETURN" because they aren't in unworn condition. Be careful your new Brooks product, and don't assume it will match the quality we expected in the past.

I’ve been wearing the Books Addiction Walkers for years and have been very satisfied with them. However, when I ordered these I found that they are less much less supportive and have less padding. Also, the heel is much too wide and there is not enough room in the forefoot for my toes to be comfortable. Please bring the old model back, I hate these.

This is the first pair of shoes I have purchased without trying them on first! I need a wide shoe these fit perfectly. They are very comfortable for working and running. I will say it took a few days to get used to them, but they have a good ride I would recommend them.

It's like walking on air. I stand all day at work. My legs and feet feel good. I walked all day at Disneyland as well. No pain. Energized feet. Running is such a breeze now.

Chaser shorts are my go to exercise shorts. I am disappointed with the 2.0 pocket in the back. PLEASE bring back the other back pocket. It fit my phone perfectly and was easy to access. The new 2.0 Pocket doesn't fit the phone well and if it goes in it isn't coming out until I'm done exercising.

Bought these for my 50+ yo hubby after his Dr told him to wear Brooks for support. He was reticent to wear sneakers instead of dress boots or shoes, but he loves them! Comfortable and stylish in an unobtrusive way that doesn't scream running shoes.

I have truly terrible feet, high arches. These shoes provide the best support and comfort. They are waterproof. I have worn them in the snowdry socks. My feet love these shoes. In a pinch if you need to dress in a suit, you can wear these shoes if the day also requires a lot of walking. I toured the US Capitol in a suit with these shoes. I am sure there are many people on their feet all day that swear by these shoes.
