Bottom line: Buy them. This is my 5th pair over the years and I continue to purchase them. They are walkers, not formal, not running. The sole is rather flat which works well for walking. The fit is correct and there is reasonable arch support - just enough. They are very comfortable and easy on the legs and back when walking. They have a loop about halfway up the tongue and near the top to help keep the tongue in place - very nice. The only issue I have had is that a seam might start to split after 1-2 years or the rubber front bumper can start to detach. In both cases, I have applied glue and it works fine. I wear the same pair all day every day and they seem to last about 3+ years.

This is my 4th pair of Addiction Walkers from Zappos, and I wear them to work - about 45 hours a week, 52 weeks of the year. They were an indispensable part of ridding myself of plantar fasciitis. The support and stability were just what I needed. The new-look pattern is nice but not flashy.

I've been wearing Brooks Addiction Walker shoes for years and finally talked my husband into wearing them now, we won't wear anything else for walking every day.

They Fit Very Well and I Love Them

I’ve been wearing this particular shoe for several years. I go through about 2 pair per year and think they are great.

This is my second pair of Brooks Addiction Walker shoes. I'm still trying to wear out the first pair, now 10 years old. I had to order a 1/2 size larger on this pair being the Addiction Walker 2 but I knew this thanks to other reviews stating that they run a little small. My old pair is a size 8. I ordered 8.5 and the fit is perfect. Most comfortable and longest lasting shoe I've ever worn. Hope the new version lasts as long as my old pair. I wore the old pair at my job working in a commercial kitchen. Good service and fast shipping with Zappos, thanks.

Fit and comfort is great. I wanted Addiction 14 instead, more of a athletic shoe look with more ventilation, but you were out with no date when they would be available.

For someone with knee and foot problems, these are perfect shoes! Beautiful fit:; soft and smooth with a strong support. I live in NYC and do a LOT of walking, so Bravo!

These are my go to shoes. I have flat-feet and my feet are two different sizes. I just have to go 1/2 size larger with this shoe & they are comfortable for both my feet.

The fit, style and comfort is great trying to decide between the size 13 & 14. Both sizes work but trying to decide which will be better when my feet are fatigued and tired so I try them on everyday after work for about 30 minutes to see which size will win.

I have purchased many pairs of “The Beast” and expect the same excellence. The fit and feel is great! Thanks for making a wide shoe!
