I have worked in these for more than 8 hours on my feet for 3 days, not in sucession, but several days apart. The shoes are very uncomfotable, with my left foot developing a callus on the bottom.

I've been wearing Brooks Addiction Walker for years, I'm very happy with them, just hoping for an additional color to be added. Maybe Grey

Excellent for people with flat feet. Also an amazingly well built shoe. Very well insulating, works well in a wide range of temps, from hot to cold. Great for casual hiking as well. I don't run with flat feet, so appreciate a walking shoe. Have been using this shoe for more than ten years now, lost count of how many pairs over the years.

Ok this is the third pair of this walking shoe I've purchased but I noticed I was slipping a little on wet surfaces outside. Then I saw the design of the sole has changeda lot. Wish they had maintained the old design , as I never had that issue with previous walkers in the same make. I guess in future I will ask to see the sole before purchasing, or look at different models.. although the trend seems to be geared more to running shoes now . You could consider there's a large number in the senior market looking for good walking shoes.

My husband has severe hammer toes. He cannot wear conventional shoes anymore, so he only wears Brooks "Beast" running shoes. Since he will need shoes for a semi-formal occasion we gave these a try. The toe box was high enough to avoid painful contact. Also, loosening the laces actually allowed the shoe width to expand a bit. He is comfortable in these shoes.

Always supportive and comfortable. Great fit. These are my work shoes for the therapy sport fitness center where I work and it's easier to get through my day with them. Also I'm type 2 diabetic so foot care is important.

The best shoes ever! I have been wearing Brooks Addiction Walkers EXCLUSIVELY for over 10 years. One-of-four shoe brands recommended (w/PowerStep Met insole for correction) by my podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. I bought a pair, added insoles and for the first time in years my feet were 'happy" within 30 minutes of putting them on!. I walk 3 miles first thing every morning. This would be impossible for me with any other shoe (I've tried many other top brands). So now I own 8 pr (4 white, 2 black, 2 brown suede) all in a daily rotation for various levels of wear and function. 2 pair for walking, then after walk, 2 pairs of each for casual dress & 2 pair of "retired" whites for rough work, gardening etc.. Brooks Addiction Walker 2 are just too good to take off! Now, if only Brookes would make a casual dress shoe with the exact same attributes.

This shoe offers firm, comfortable walking support.
This is available in half sizes above size 12 which is really nice.
I walk approximately 4 miles for daily exercise and find this shoe has a good grip on surfaces.
The shoes last me at least 200-300 miles.
Sometimes I stub my toe, and this eventually wears on the little front flap that covers the toe and causes it to pull away from the shoe -- that's the only thing I can say is a negative.

The shoe is great except that it doesn't breathe and makes my feet sweat even in 40 degree weather. I don't visualize that I will be able to wear it in the summer.

This pair of shoes fits fine, but is not as comfortable as my first pair which had the hush puppy look. Not sure if the hush puppy style, the material was more flexible, than this style which is a leather shoe.

It's a nice looking shoe, but the sole doesn't have enough traction for snow and ice. That's what I was looking for.
