I wanted a basic walking shoe that I could keep in my office for my lunchtime walks- -these are not the shoes for me as they run short. WHY do brands have to run so inconsistent.

Overall, the shoes seem like they will work out for me. I like the color and style. However, they seem a bit stiff. One seems looser than the other in the heel. One of tongues seem shorter than the other, and the shoe laces are almost too short. The front part is wide enough to be comfortable.

I love the shoe style and feel except this she must run small. My toes are cramped. I always buy 9.5 size Brooks shoe but this time the size is too snug. Because I never have problems like this with Brooks which I buy religiously, I wore them outside on a long walk before I realized they were too small. So now I am stuck with them. I guess I will go back to the prior style shoe I have always ordered.

not the support I was used to in the Walker.
Miss the higher correction on inside of heel for pronation. Disappointing that it no longer is there.

The shoe is a tight fit which provides support but not comfort. I am a Brooks Ghost shoe fan which have always given me what I want right out of the box.

This is a nice shoe but the heel counter in the back was so high that it dug into my foot creating pain the minute I put it on. Had to return. I ordered 1/2 bigger and it fit otherwise. Roomy toe box and nice cushioning.

I am use to wearing Brooks brand running and walking sneakers which are very comfortable and do not require breaking in. This style slip resistant shoe I needed for work was disappointing because it's not the same fit as the other sneakers I've purchased from Brooks. I am getting cramps in my foot. There is less arch support in this shoe than I have grown accustomed to that I had hoped for.

I have been wearing Brooks Ghost series to walk in and bought these walkers thinking they might be a better choice. Not for me. They don’t have much cushioning in the toe area so walking fast in them isn’t very comfortable (even on an indoor track), and overall the orthotic insert feels wrong on my foot. But I had already gone walking when I discovered all this, including a second time in case I just needed to get used to them. Just got a pair of Ghost 14s in the same size and width and they are perfect.

The moment I opened the box I could see that the shoes would be too narrow for me. I always wear a ?D? width but theses didn?t look or feel like my other Brooks shoes. I returned them.

Although I even ordered a half size larger to be on the safe side (I didn?t want to have to return them for extra postage), they were too tight & definitely on the short side. I had a friend with me who wears my same size and she also tried them on and they were too small for her as well. I guess ordering online is not a good way to buy shoes.

Unfortunately this Brooks version doesn't work for me. I've worn Ariel for years but thought I'd try a stiffer shoe because I walk quite a bit on uneven ground. I've found that the cut on the sides is too high and it hits my ankle and really hurts. Unfortunately, I've worn them about 10 times hoping I could get used to them. A costly mistake.
