I bought these for my 66 year old mother who is an avid 3-6 miles/day (fast!) walker. She said they feel like she's walking on a cloud! She bragged so much to her walking buddy about them, that her friend ended up buying a pair, too! They both swear they are the most comfortable walking shoe they've both ever had. No more burning balls of the feet. Looks like they've found their new go-to shoe!

bought these for my mom after she'd had ankle surgery. uses them for walking only and I wanted her to have a good supportive shoe. after running in the ghost 12 I though she needed a great shoe as well. worth every penny.

Good supportive walking shoes. Feet get hot though and would love some more choices in color. I do like the toned down design and color.

Great stability shoe. Wanted something with more support along the inside of my foot and this shoe did the trick. I normally get a size 9 in brooks adrenaline for running. A size 9 in the addiction walker shoe was a little small. My recommendation would be to get a half size up (the 9s still fit me, they are just more of a snug shoe) . I am an occupational therapist and this is a great shoe for being on my feet all day. This is not a shoe I would recommend running in.

The Addiction Walker Suede is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! I have debilitating foot pain when I am barefoot or dressed in anything else. I am very overweight and stand long hours for work. I have worn the Addiction Walker Suede every day for 10 months, washed them once (only because I started wearing them without socks and they got smelly), but they still are I holding up beautifully, look nice, and are comfortable and supportive despite the extra abuse I put them through. I usually tend to over-pronate in shoes. Even after 10 months of daily use, there is very minimal to ever-so-slight pronation in the Addiction Walker Suede. I don't make a lot of money, but I would still buy this shoe even if it cost several times it's listed price. I also own the leather Addiction Walker I that I use for my side jobs as usher for a NHL and a MLB team. This version of the shoe is also incredibly supportive and comfortable (but not as comfy as the suede). It is finally starting to wear down after 3 years of use in extreme weather and standing on concrete for hours at a time. I just purchased the Addiction Walker II yesterday and eagerly awaiting its arrival. I am crossing my fingers and hoping it is as comfortable as the suede version. PLEASE MAKE MORE COLORS AVAILABLE IN THE SUEDE 2E WIDTH! I would purchase them all. I tried buying the men's version of this shoe but you didn't have my equivalent size in men's in 2E width (women's size 9/men's 7.5). It was too narrow. I kept it and I hope it stretches in time.

I have a very bad back, and trying to get any type of cardio can be painful. Brooks are the gold standard for me. Please never stop selling this shoe.

Love these shoes, I am a walker with bunions and a hammer toe. Have also been plagued by plantar fasciitis in the past. I have had Brooks shoes previously but came upon these by accident, love them. I got a size larger and don?t need my expensive orthotics, support is just as good. I would definitely recommend.

These shoes are very comfortable. They were a little stiff right out of the box but softened up a bit after wearing them for a few weeks. I love the suede and prefer it over the mesh because it is more durable.

Excellent arch support. Wearing these shoes, I complete a good walk on asphalt and have no ill effects. They ensure I have no subsequent problems with my knees.

Great support, very well constructed. I have an old foot injury that makes it hard to find shoes that are both supportive and comfortable, and for any length of time. My four-mile walks have become much more manageable, and I will most likely order a second pair for standing all day at my job!

Perfect walking shoe. My knee has been bothering me lately, so wanted some shoes with stabilization, these shoes are very comfortable and supportive.

I was experiencing low back pain with walking (typically walk about 3 miles on paved trails). I searched and compared extensively, and Brooks Addiction was on all lists. These shoes have not disappointed. They are extremely comfortable, and I am no longer having any pain. I also have found them to be very comfortable when I am standing a lot. Well worth the investment.

It took a couple of miles to get accustomed to this shoe, as I have worn another brand in the past. Now that's it's broken in, it's wonderful - very supportive, great for multi-mile power walks. I'd order a size up, though - it runs a bit short.
