I was very disappointed with this shoe. I decided to try this shoe to see if it would alleviate some of my knee discomfort and I have been using the Brooks running shoes for quite some time which I have loved. This shoe does not hold up to the standards of other Brooks shoes. I only wore it once and it was so uncomfortable I decided to return it. In fact, this is the most uncomfortable shoe I've worn in years. It's at least a half size to a full size too small and it is not soft and cushiony like other Brooks shoes. The soul is hard and uncomfortable as very much contrasted with other Brooks shoes. Honestly I was very surprised and disappointed. I'm definitely returning it.

The original Addiction Walkers were the best shoe I've ever worn. The Brown Nubuck style was a perfect winter shoe for the Pacific NW, I wore little else. These are too thin to be a winter shoe, aren't nearly as comfortable, and not nearly as good for plantar fascitis and flat feed. They aren't as solid either. I've spent thousands on these--though not cheap, I never regretted it. Won't be buying any more of these, they seem in truth a completely different shoe (yeah, they look really cool) that should have been introduced under a different name. Would have bought 10 pairs of the original version in black *and* brown if I'd known the style was about to be degraded. Really poor choice.

I bought the exact same shoe when my previous pair wore out, so that's saying something. I would love a lighter color. I'm not a black shoe kind of guy and this shoe is a very dark navy blue (too dark in my opinion). But it keeps me away from pantar faciatis and I walk in comfort. Boom.

This is my 5 pair in about 8 years as they are the only sneakers I buy for my job as I do a lot of walking for my employment as a window cleaner visiting various locations throughout the day. It really helps as I have back issues and it assists greatly when I'm on my feet 8-10 hours a day

I purchased these for a Washington DC trip where at I knew we would be walking a lot and they were worth it. They were very comfortable and did not get hot despite that they were black. The heat was 100+. Love them and will buy again.

Very supportive. I can walk further and more comfortably in these. Like the understated look compared to many walking/running shoes.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. Very comfortable to walk provide him the support he needs. Looks nice if you wear them with slacks or jeans. I'm going to get another color.

I have flat feet and overpronate so I have difficulty finding shoes that work for me. I was looking for shoes for just when I'm out and about, not for exercise (I use the Adrenalines for that). I use an over the counter orthotic with these and they work great. The support is just right and they fit my slightly narrow foot well. The cushioning is on the firm side but they are still very comfortable. Overall, I'm very happy with these.

I love all my Brooks running shoes & sneakers Could you make the Addiction Walker in brown. I already have it in black and wear it with black , blue and gray dress slacks It would be great to have it in brown so I can wear them with brown dress slacks Thanks

Really nice shoe but the toe box was too narrow for me. I normally wear a Ghost in 8 2E, and the Addiction was just too tight in front, even in a wide. So, sending it back, but if you usually wear a normal width in a running shoe, the wide might fit. Customer service did tell me the Addiction's toe box was "more linear" because running shoes allow for expansion/swelling.

I am a Walker. I have been buying these shoes from Brooks for more than 0 years. It is time for a design or at least a color change. I definitely like the protected rubber toe. Most of the new runner shoes do not have this toe and the shoe does not wear as well for me. It also may be time for more cushion in the heel. For the coments below, I do wear the 2EE. PS: I do use the leather Brooks Walkers in the Winter.

This shoe supports my fast pace walking style and gives me great balance.

The shoes are the best I have had. I do a lot of walking and those shoes are very comfortable. My feet feel good in them. Brooks shoes are the best and I?ll be buying more. Thanks

Modest design great without a bunch of ridiculous bright colors

I love my Addiction suede walkers. They can be used as business casual footwear and I will be wearing on our Rhine River cruise this August.

My current go to - summer shoe. This is my third pair in about four years. For those of you with significant foot related issues, I highly recommend the Addiction Walker or Addiction Walker II. Without this shoe, I am in a world of hurt. I would suggest some more color options, and restyling the leather version, which is getting rather dated. Also the soles could benefit from more lateral traction to avoid slipping sideways . PS - tried to buy a pair on the internet for about half the price - it was a scam!

All around comfort. Nice snug fit. Comfy all day.

Very comfortable shoes. They go with everything and are versatile. Solid walking shoe that I can wear with a lot of outfits.
