I love all my Brooks running shoes & sneakers Could you make the Addiction Walker in brown. I already have it in black and wear it with black , blue and gray dress slacks It would be great to have it in brown so I can wear them with brown dress slacks

Good looking shoedesign seemed fictional
For me, it was intended to be the all day dresser comfort walkermy foot was too wide
In the Beast and GTS adrenaline I wear 11 2Eand I both those are perfect
This shoe too narrow for my foot

I am a Walker. I have been buying these shoes from Brooks for more than 0 years. It is time for a design or at least a color change. I definitely like the protected rubber toe. Most of the new runner shoes do not have this toe and the shoe does not wear as well for me.
It also may be time for more cushion in the heel. For the coments below, I do wear the 2EE.
PS: I do use the leather Brooks Walkers in the Winter.

I recently ordered a pair of Addiction Walker Suede in 11 Wide to replace the exact shoes I bought 3 years ago. When they showed up, I tried them on, and discovered they were 1/2 size too short! Even though they were the exact same size of what I am wearing.
I returned the shoes to Brooks, and received a refund.
Now, I am really reluctant to order another pair online because I can't trust that the sizing will be correct. Love the shoes, but they still gotta fit!

Im a long time Brooks customer but find this Addiction walking shoe model is for causal walking only, not for walking workouts as I had hoped. The cushioning and support is not adequate. Ive had better success using my Beast and Addiction running shoes for walking workouts as they provide better stability, fit and comfort for the same price. Also, styling and color options for this walking shoe skews older and more orthopedic looking.

Very supportive and the styling is decent, too. They are not as "soft" feeling as the Glycerin, but that is not a complaint, just an observation.

So, I?ve worn them with custom orthotics for about 30 days, every day. Comfortable and leave my foot pain-free. One problem has come up: both shoes are starting to squeak - a very annoying sound. What can be done, Brooks team?

Like others have mentioned the toe area is not wide enough for a 4E. I was bought the shoe to just wear around town etc.

Ive worn your original Addiction Walker (leather) several times over the past few years. I deal with plantar fasciitis for years and thats why I liked your Addiction Walker. But living in Florida its a hot shoe in summer. So when I saw your Addiction Walker in suede. Figured it would be cooler. Im a 11 2X. I found this shoe to be very tight around my entire foot and my big toe touched the front of the toe box. I found them to be very uncomfortable. I was surprised and I returned them to Zappos. Ill stick with my Dyad lls

Love them so far, but have only worn them around the house to break them in gently.

Disappointing. The fabric forming the shoe top very quickly became stressed at the big toe, even to the point of incipient disintegration on the outside of the shoe in that spot long, long before there appeared any signs of wear on the tread.

Nice for walking and everyday casual wear. Toe box is not as roomy as the Ghost 14, which was a bit of a disappointment for me with wide feet.

I wear Brooks Ghost 12 4E because of my wide feet and the Ghost shoes have a wide toe box. I wanted more stability so I bought the Addiction Walker Suede in the same size 12 4E. they not wide and they hurt my feet

A comfortable, lightweight shoe that I wear all day for my 11-hr shifts with mixed standing/walking/sitting duties. I wanted a shoe that would last, so I went with suede instead of a knitted stretchy shoe that always wears into holes. Because of the material, this shoe doesn't breathe as much as mesh, so my feet do get a little hot in these during the long work day. However, most of the time I don't notice until the end of the day. At first, I found them too supportive in the arch and with a stiff footbed, but after 1 wk of break-in I can stand all day in them. Overall a good design, true to fit.

I use these for regular walking, typically only 3-6 miles. I used to wear the leather Addiction Walkers which fit my feet perfectly. But they didn't breath and tended to get smelly. The Addiction Walker Suede breathes enough to wear on warm days in Florida. I like an exercise shoe with a narrow heel and a wide toe box. Compared to the leather Walkers, the Suede Walker seems to have a pointier toe and tends to press on my toes and metatarsals. Careful lacing helps. (But they are still better than most other walking/running shoes I've tried.) The sole is ok for my use. It does collect a lot of small pebbles and plant clutter. I sometimes have problems with plantar fasciitis. The support in this shoe doesn't really seem to help with that, but it also doesn't seem to cause it. In general, I feel like the shoe does well for side-to-side motion support.

Sole has narrow slits - bad to pick up small debris.
