I have Brooks road running shoes in size 11, so I was hoping these would fit similarly - and they did. I use these for trail running and running on icy or snowy roads. I've gone thru some significant puddles and slushy areas, and my feet have remained warm and dry. Structure of the shoe is great for keeping me from stumbling, and the tread is effective but doesn't get gunked up with mud or snow.

I have had these shoes for about a month. They are a great shoe! These are comfortable to run in. They fit well with accurate sizing. These are trail shoes, so they can be a little noisier when running on pavement, which isn't their main purpose. Though, I have a trail about a mile from my house that I run on streets to reach, and these still function well and are comfortable on that surface type. They have great traction when running on trails. The gortex lining is a really nice feature. I expected to use these mainly as my trail shoes with the gortex being helpful very occasionally in the rain or a Spartan Race. While I typically don't like to do this with my running shoes, I have found myself grabbing these fairly frequently for purposes other than running. They work great at keeping my feet dry when playing with my kids in wet grass or walking through puddles or slushy driveways. I'm really happy with this shoe and plan on buying another pair when I wear them out.

I like it. A bit heavy, but to be expected given the gore-Tex lining. Good grip, reasonable flexibility, good fit. My primary use for the shoe is fall/winter wear in wet conditions, walking more than running, on wet grass and through puddles. Works great; my feet stay dry.

Pretty comfortable shoe. Seems to be holding up well after a few runs in some state/national parks. My only real complaints is that it makes an odd noise when I am running. It sounds like it may be coming from the waterproof layer. However, I run with headphones on, so it isn't that big of a deal.

A good shoe but too narrow for me. I normally wear Ghost, normal width, fits perfectly. These were too tight in the toe box and are not offered in wide.

Love the fit and feel of the shoe. Good traction and grip for trail running. I use these shoes for OCR racing and love them. My only complaint is the the inside of the heel wears out before the rest of the shoe. I have two pair right now that I love but both have holes in the inside of the heel behind the Achilles.

Just got a pair! I love them ! sturdy and a great grip on the ground. Great for wet conditions. I'm looking for something that's got more cushion and spring with good stability what's the best shoe ?? Any suggestions?
I wish those laces were just a teenie tiny bit longer but I do love this shoe throw on some good music and you can really tack on the miles I felt like running extra

Durable, great sole, nice stability. Cushioning could certainly be better. Wound up replacing the insoles. Way better with better insoles. Definitely. For moderate to severe pronators. Good fit. Good heel stability. Actually excellent heel stability.

Nice sneaker. Wore it everyday for 2 1/2 years and then it was finally time to replace it. Only problem was, every time they got wet my right foot got wet not the left. Weard.

I was really excited to find a waterproof shoe with gore tex in the Brooks brand. Unfortunately, Brooks does not make a shoe of this type in women's in my size. The men's shoe fit perfectly in the forefoot, but was too wide in the heel. Sad that I have to return this.

It is advertised as a shoe with some extra cushion, but I haven't found that to be the case. It is lacking in that department, in my opinion.

I loved these shoes at first. The tongue is obviously not thick enough though as the laces put way too much pressure on the top of my feet. I've tried loosening them but then the top half of the shoe isn't secure around my feet and will just lead to blisters and strained muscles. Because of this one major flaw I don't believe these shoes are worth the price. I can't easily return them because I already threw away my old shoes which wouldn't have made it much longer anyway and I dont have another pair of shoes currently. I'll just have to tough it out and hope to get used to them.

Why has Brooks decided that their GTX line is always the ugliest colorway possible for the shoe. Are they even trying? the Cascadia GTX is tolerable, but the Ghost 12 GTX is literally garbage. I just don't get how you have all these possible colorways and you choose the worst possible one for a shoe that will only get one colorway.
Again, great shoe, grippy enough, stays dry without being a plastic bag. Wider than most other Goretex trail runners (Soloman, la sportiva), by no means are they "wide" but they are wider. it would be spot on perfect if Brooks just managed to have a colorway that made me not want to ever be seen off the trail with them on.

Just got them in today, so no rating on how they are on the trail.
Medium width fits very NARROW.
I have an older pair of Cascadias (12). Width was great. These, not so much.

I really love some of my brooks running shoes, and ordered this pair for wet conditions. I have been using Brooks adrenaline gts 19, and the fit of the cascadia is completely different. The toe box is very narrow but the heel is quite wide, so I was getting major heel slippage while simultaneously making my feet numb. Sizing up is not a great option with heel slippage in the smaller size, so I just returned them. Additionally, these shoes are very loud and squeaky. If you like how Brooks fit in other styles, these probably are not for you.

Ive worn Brooks for about 6/7 years and this is the first uncomfortable pair I've owned. maybe they are better for running?... I got them about a month ago and brought them to Vegas for walking the strip. Won't do that again

Why don't you make a GTX in wide? If you sell other shoes in wide, then you should sell a GTX shoe in wide. What, you don't think people who buy wide shoes don't want to keep their feet dry?

Let me start by saying these shows felt amazing! They were cushioned and felt great while I was breaking them in. With that said taking them on trails was a mistake. After one hike they already had three holes in them. So sad I really liked these shoes and wanted them to be durable and last a while for the price I was paying for them.
