Having a black soul makes my feet turn black. I have dirty feet every time I wear these things. The rubber soul is very stiff.

I just ordered my second pair of Tide II Toe Post sandals. My first pair are black and I wanted to get another color. I really liked the grey color so I ordered pewter. The color I received is not the same as pictured on the Vionic website. The straps are more of a gold color. Disappointed. I wanted something more neutral so will return.

I bought this sandal (flip flop) and the toe area is very uncomfortable. The square piece above the toe cuts into area between my toes. The arch is very good so don't know if I will keep them and try to get use to piece between toes or return them.

After about 6 months the soles started coming apart. i tried glueing back together but they kept coming apart. Company could not give me a satisfactory answer. these are too expensive for this to happen after only 6-7 months of wear

I've purchased at least a dozen pair of these sandals (beginning when they were called Orthoheel). Have always loved the great arch support -- saved my feet when I developed Plantars Fasciitis. This spring I purchased Tide II and High Tide. Both have very firm foot beds much more inflexible than the originals to the point where they're uncomfortable. In the past I never had to 'break in' these shoes. They always fit perfectly and were comfortable while supportive. These newer foot beds also look cheap (not covered with microfiber). Tide II came only in Med/Wide and is way too wide for my foot. It just flops around. I will return it and keep fingers crossed on High Tide that they become more comfortable.

I have worn these in other colors the past several seasons. The new version has much thinner straps which make the sandal much wider and harder to keep on my foot. The dotted pattern on the footbed is also less distinct adding to the extra width of the sandal. Now I'm afraid to order new ones in other colors in case they too have been ruined by the new less substantial materials. Why did you have to mess with perfection?

I spoke to my podiatrist who recommended this shoe for planters fasciitis and I am disappointed since the sandal is not comfortable as I hopped it would have been. I am disappointed since I thought higher arch support would also provide some cushion / comfort. I find this sandal is quite hard and uncomfortable but I guess I will just have to get used to it since it is good for me. Wish there was a way to get comfort and support for the high cost of this sandal. I have never spent so much $$$ for a sandal that was so uncomfortable!!!

The sandals are great but this companies sizing is too big! Too long and too wide for a normal size 8. Shame - nice shoes. I tried 3 different pairs and had to send them back cause they were more like a size 9.

I buy these every year. This year the size 9 right foot straps are too large and the sandal slips off my foot when walking. I returned them and decided to buy them in a store so I could try them on first. They seemed okay at first but after a few times wearing them for a very short amount of time the right straps are now too large and my foot again slips out. Very disappointed.

I have always worn medium but this shoe is way too narrow. I loved the style and they were very comfortable but this sandal in my opinion are not medium width.

Good looking shoe to get in the car and take a short walk. Not good for an active person. After a mile of walking my legs and back ached. I will use this for a quick walk on the beach and look for a shoe that fits my active lifestyle.

Bought these to wear to at home as struggling with plantar fasciitis. The post was uncomfortable after half hour. They also felt heavier than my other flip flops. And needed a wider fit.

Nice look but not really worth the price. Do not understand how this hard sole is suppose to be comfortable. But I love the arch support.

I really hoped for Tortola comfort. But the toe thong rubs on between my toes. It may just be me.

I'm just so incredibly disappointed in this shoe. I've been wearing Vionic (Orthaheel) Tide sandals for about 12 years. Vionic is what I wear almost exclusively and I have several pairs of Tide sandals. Most of the pairs that I currently have are getting old so I ordered a new pair of Tide shoes and three other styles of sandals as well. All four pairs are going back! Vionic has changed these sandals. They used to have great arch support. It's now merely ok. My old sandals that I want to replace have a higher arch and are more comfortable and supportive than the new shoes I just received. I don't know why Vionic would change these but they no longer work for me. The arch isn't as high and the heel cup isn't as deep. Sadly it's time to find another brand!

The shoes run half a size small in the cross part on top. Worse the top has stitching wore a blister on my foot every time I tried them. I tried 4 times for about an hour each. Donation bin.

I bought these shoes in June of 2018 and they started breaking in December of 2018. Not worth the price.

I have a high arch and these sandals were very uncomfortable. The toe post is too short and puts pressure on the top of my foot

I wanted to love these but with me only wearing them inside my house (to prevent me from walking around barefoot with no arch support) for only a few months the sole of one of the shoes is coming off!!! Ive never once worn these outdoors and now it feels like im walking around on a rock on one side because the shoe is literally coming apart under my foot. The quality was just not great. I was excited about the look and how well it supported my arch but im a little disappointed with this.

I have been wearing these for almost a year. Just now the sole has come apart. I tried gluing it but it came apart again. For the price I expected them to last longer.

As others have said I purchased these sandals for my Plantar Fasciitis. Price was NO object in order to find comfort! I LOVE these sandals for the arch support but unfortunately they are REALLY painful in between my toes - so..... I was going to send them back but I threw the original box away. I had no choice but to find another way to wear these and now I wear socks with them - which looks really whack - but - that's the only way I can wear these sandals. LOL! I only wear them at home and my feet feel FANTASTIC! :)
