I've loved the look of this Vionic sandal for a long time & finally ordered it. I have many pairs of Vionic shoes and sandals & the overall fit was the same as my other Vionics. However, the metal ring on the top, which is the very thing about the design that I loved, rubbed/caused pressure at the top of my foot on both feet & made both feet very sore & red just outside of the toe post area. At first I thought the sandal needed to stretch and loosen up but after wearing around the house off and on for several days, switching back & forth between my other comfy Vionic sandals, it is clear the very design of the sandal (that I LOVED) is a fail for me in the comfort department. Sadly had to send them back.

I should have realized that the thong between the toes was leather from the pictures online. That hurts. love your flip/flops with the fabric between toes. I returned them right away. So sorry

I love vionic, but sometimes Clark's are ok and Naturalizer

I bought this style recently based on all the good reviews on this website and independent ones. One reviewer on a site said the arch support was painful for some and unfortunately I was among those people! I have six pairs of Vionic sneakers a pair of Brielle Flatforms and none of these styles have given me the pain I felt after slipping into the Toe Post style. So painful I had to take them off after an hour.. Maybe the fit improves the longer you wear these but as I'm already dealing with plantar fasciitis issues on one foot I couldn't take the chance that I'd injure my arch/heel further.Sadly I had to return! Beautiful navy leather and loved the metal ring detail.

I have to say I was disappointed in these sandals. When I received them, I was not impressed with the quality of the appearance, but I decided to give them a try. I wish I'd sent them back. They leather thong looks cheap and is. it is fraying in between the toes, loosens and stretches quickly, and the upper sole has worn quickly as well. Previously, I've had Chacos, OluKai's, an earth shoe flip flop and others that lasted years with regular wear. These were purchased earlier this summer and won't make it much longer. I do not reocmmend.
I'd also recommend:

I have worn vionic for many years and most of them have helped my planters fascistic. Ordered the black suede. These have a leather piece between the toes that rubbed uncomfortably. I could not get use to it. Returned them.

I got o sore on both feet from the strap between the toes I tried braking them in by wearing for short periods of time in the house. This is not my first purchase of Vionic sandals so I was surprised by this.

This shoe was the correct length and width and seemed to have excellent arch support. Unfortunately, the arch support on the shoe didn't hit my arch in the correct spot. As a result, it was not comfortable to walk on--it felt like I had a tennis ball lodged in my shoe. These will be going back.

Liked the look and the length was true to size, but was too wide around my foot making the sandal move while I walked so I had to return it

I'm not a big fan of flip shoes, but the toe post really hurts a lot. I normally take an 8 1/2, and sized down to an 8, but there's still an inch or so of shoe beyond my toes.

I ordered a size down and it fit me just right. The problem I have with these sandals is that they make my feet sweat. I have NEVER had a problem with my feet sweating in any type of shoe or sandal but I do have a problem with these Vionics. It's whatever the footbed is made of that's causing it. I don't have a problem with sweaty feet when I wear sandals or shoes with a leather footbed.

I have owned over a dozen vionic flip flops. This is the first one that didn't fit right at the toe post.

I wear a 7.5 W or WW, and could not get my foot into these. I ordered a size 7 as recommended. It may be due to a high instep. I had hoped that since the shoe had no straps straight across the foot, that width would not be an issue.

I've had lots of these flip-flops and they've been so comfortable and perfect but they were fabric rather than leather. The leather is what's making them uncomfortable. I will be returning them unfortunately. Lovely colour

It seems they are changing the product making it without the quality as in the past. These shoes haven't been worn more than 10 times and they are loose in the toe in the right foot. I have many pairs of Vionic Sandals (15 +) including this sandal in other colors and this has never happened before. I would like to return them for a replacement.

The shoes arrived in a box that was crushed and when I got them out of the box the tissue paper was ripped up and the shoes has tar and gravel imbedded in the bottom of the soles.

The thong fell out after 3 months. Zappos will not replace. Will shop elsewhere. Customer service has declined sharply.

This is regrettable. Such a stylish sandal, but inconsiderate buyers have jammed their feet into the right shoe and stretched the strap beyond the point where it is wearable. Do not buy these shoes, or any like them unless you just want to take a chance and don’t mind having to return them.

I loved Vionic sandals when the original creator was in control of quality and production! I've been buying them since it was Orthaheel. I believe they have declined in recent years. I can no longer justify paying the price.

Although I usually love Vionic sandals, these are so uncomfortable I can't wear them. The piece that goes between your toes is painful.
