Excellent look and made well. The depth of the shoe was too narrow for my average foot.

I have found this shoe to be very tough and aggressive. Scrambling, talus approaches, moderate route climbing, rock route developing, bushwhacking is where this shoe has excelled for me.
Mellow hiking and day to day use not as ideal as it is a burly build, so a one quiver shoe this is not, which i was thinking it could be. The nice sleek looks got the better of me as I thought it could also be a nice looking day to day shoe.
I (read my feet) enjoy the shoes more without the inner sole. It drops my foot down a bit and the ankle lock fits perfect then. I get a better feel of the ground/rock that way too, being much nicer on my joints.
I have a broad forefoot so it took about two weeks of "breaking the shoes in" to get them just right for my feet.
Tough shoe, is my bottom line.

After what seems like a really long time I've actually found a pair of arcteryx shoes I like the look of and seem to have all the relevant reinforcements in all the right places, so I bought a pair.
Great from the box with enough width for my slightly wider than average feet, and yes they look great in the flesh too.
Now the wingey bit, I wore them around the house as I've always done with new shoes/boots before test driving properly outdoors, with no problems, then a couple of 2 to 3 mile dog walks and they practically hacked my achilles heal in two with blisters, I've since invested in compeed blister plasters and i'll endeavour to break in the heal cup and rim but l have to say I've never had to break in the heal with any other manufacturers shoes, and over the years there's been many.

The Shoe is good quality, the only issue I had was the back of the upper ankle needs more padding. I get blisters while wearing these and for the price I was hoping I wouldn't need to be weary of the socks I wear while wearing them. I have a pair of Saucony's which are similar in price and the padding around the upper ankle is the best feature and are way more comfortable.

This seems like a well built daily shoe that you can take on the trail but the sizing is a bit strange. I have purchased other Arc shoes including the Konseal FL, always size 12 and always fit great. This shoe felt loose, way too much heel slippage so I may try 11.5 to see how that goes but I may just try a different brand overall.

Seems like a solid shoe but the fit is completely different from my Konseal FL and Aerios GTX. I own the same sizes in the other shoes and they fit perfectly. This shoe my heel is all over the place. I can see why others commented on the heel giving out quickly, there is just too much room. I wish this site had more specifics on sizing compared to previous shoes, it saves people like me the trouble of having to go make a return in person in my pandemic ridden town.

The Konseal AR felt like a great buy. They fit well and kept the best part of the autumn out during short walks. However, after 5 months the printed abrasion resistant design around the lower part of the shoe cracked and large splits opened up on the toe box on both shoes. The Konseal started off great, but quickly let me down. When compared to Scarpa or La Sportiva approach shoes the construction is poor. Additionally the inside heel area wore through incredibly quickly. I've never had this happen on any trail or approach shoes. A bad design.
I'd expect more than 5 months of light use from an approach shoe in this price range!

But brutal breaking not that comfortable and the vibe room sore is almost wore completely through already. With the name I assume the issues would be spectacular but I was very disappointed
